All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

但他们在遭难的时候，回转归向耶和华以色列的神，寻求他，他就给他们寻见。

他们也立约，要一心一意寻求耶和华他们列祖的神。

我们引以为荣的，就是我们处世为人，是本着神的圣洁和真诚，不是靠着人的聪明，而是靠着神的恩典，对你们更是这样，这是我们的良心可以作证的。

因为事情很快办完，希西家和全体人民因神为他的子民所预备的，都甚欢乐。

耶何耶大与众民和王立约，要他们作耶和华的子民。于是众民都去到巴力庙，把庙拆毁，打碎祭坛和偶像，又在祭坛前杀了巴力的祭司玛坦。耶何耶大把看守耶和华殿的责任，交在利未支派的祭司手里；这些利未支派的祭司是大卫分派在耶和华的殿中，照着摩西的律法所记的，给耶和华献燔祭，又照着大卫所定的，欢乐歌唱。他又设立守门的看守耶和华殿的各门，无论为了什么事，不洁净的人，都不能进去。他率领百夫长、贵族、民间的官长和国民，又把王从耶和华的殿领下来，从“上门”进入王宫，拥立王坐在王位上。于是全国的人民都欢乐，全城也都宁静；因为他们把亚他利雅用刀杀了。

我没有在隐密处、在黑暗之地说过话；我没有对雅各的后裔说过：‘你们寻求我是徒然的。’我耶和华讲说公义，宣扬正直。

我处于两难之间，情愿离世与基督同在，因为那是好得无比的。

他若安静不动，谁能定他有罪呢？他若掩面，谁能看见他呢？无论对待一国或一人，都是这样。

你和利未人，以及住在你们中间的外族人，都要因耶和华你的神赐给你和你的家的一切好处而欢乐。

耶和华啊！我们等候你那审判的路径；你的名字和称号，都是我们心里所爱慕的。

现在我心中有意要和耶和华以色列的神立约，好使他的震怒转离我们。

耶和华使以色列人得享平安，不受四围仇敌的骚扰，已经有一段很长的日子；约书亚已经老了，年纪不小了。

这国攻击那国，这城攻击那城，因为神用各样灾难使他们纷乱。

亚撒利雅就出来迎接亚撒，对他说：“亚撒和犹大、便雅悯所有的人哪！请听我说。你们跟随耶和华，耶和华就和你们同在；你们寻求他，就必给你们寻见；你们离弃他，他必离弃你们。

省长尼希米和祭司兼经学家以斯拉，以及教导人民明白律法的利未人对众民说：“今天是耶和华你们的神的圣日，你们不要悲哀哭泣。”因为众人听见律法书上的话，都哭了。

智慧的道路尽是欢悦，智慧的路径全是平安。

义人哪！你们要靠着耶和华欢喜快乐；所有心里正直的人哪！你们都要欢呼。

我曾起誓，并且坚守誓言，我必遵守你公义的典章。

我以你的法度为我永远的产业；因为它们是我心中的喜乐。
