Now behold, God is with us at our head, and His priests with the signal trumpets to sound the war cry against you. Sons of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you will not succeed.”

你看，是上帝在頭裏率領我們，和我們同在，他的祭司也拿着號筒大聲吹來攻擊你們。以色列人哪，不要同永恆主你們列祖的上帝交戰哦；因為你們是絕不能成功的。』

上帝偕我、為我首領、其祭司吹角、向爾發聲示警、以色列人歟、勿與爾列祖之上帝耶和華戰、蓋爾必不利達也、

Behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with their battle trumpets to sound the call to battle against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your fathers, for you cannot succeed.”

So you see, God is with us. He is our leader. His priests blow their trumpets and lead us into battle against you. O people of Israel, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed!”

Look, God and his priests are with us at our head. The trumpets are ready to sound the charge against you. Israelites, don’t fight against the LORD God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed.”

Now look, God Himself is with us as our head, and His priests with sounding trumpets to sound the alarm against you. O children of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!”

And, behold, God is with us at our head, and his priests with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against Jehovah, the God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

And, behold, God himself[ is] with us for[ our] captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

Now look, God is with us as our leader. His priests are ready to blow the trumpets to signal the attack against you. You Israelites, don’t fight against the LORD God of your ancestors, for you will not win!”

but if the source is God, you will not be able to overthrow them; or else you may even be found fighting against God.”

The sons of Aaron, moreover, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and this shall be a permanent statute for you throughout your generations.And when you go to war in your land against the enemy who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, so that you will be thought of by the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies.

And they will be like warriors, Trampling down the enemy in the mud of the streets in battle; And they will fight, because the Lord will be with them; And the riders on horses will be put to shame.

“ Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— A piece of pottery among the other earthenware pottery pieces! Will the clay say to the potter,‘ What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say,‘ He has no hands’?

Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?

Some praise their chariots and some their horses, But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.

and you will be groping about at noon, just as a person who is blind gropes in the darkness, and you will not be successful in your ways; but you will only be oppressed and robbed all the time, with no one to save you.

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the originator of their salvation through sufferings.

No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

I set a trap for you and you were also caught, Babylon, While you yourself were not aware; You have been found and also seized Because you have engaged in conflict with the Lord.”

Then the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew the trumpets; and the armed men went ahead of them, and the rear guard came after the ark of the Lord, while they continued to blow the trumpets.So the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp; they did the same for six days.Then on the seventh day they got up early at the dawning of the day and marched around the city in the same way seven times; only on that day did they march around the city seven times.And at the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people,“ Shout! For the Lord has given you the city.But the city shall be designated for destruction, it and everything that is in it belongs to the Lord; only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in the house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent.But as for you, only keep yourselves from the things designated for destruction, so that you do not covet them and take some of the designated things, and turn the camp of Israel into something designated for destruction and bring disaster on it.But all the silver and gold, and articles of bronze and iron are holy to the Lord; they shall go into the treasury of the Lord.”So the people shouted, and the priests blew the trumpets; and when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, everyone straight ahead, and they took the city.

From this place as well you will go out With your hands on your head; For the Lord has rejected those in whom you trust, And you will not prosper with them.”

Say,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Will it thrive? Will he not pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, so that it withers— so that all its sprouting shoots wither? And neither by great strength nor by many people can it be raised from its roots again.

Because he has reached out with his hand against God, And is arrogant toward the Almighty.He rushes headlong at Him With his massive shield.

But Moses said,“ Why then are you violating the command of the Lord, when doing so will not succeed?

And Moses sent them, a thousand from each tribe, to the war, and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war with them, and the holy implements and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand.

Then the Spirit of God covered Zechariah, the son of Jehoiada the priest like clothing; and he stood above the people and said to them,“ This is what God has said,‘ Why do you break the commandments of the Lord and do not prosper? Because you have abandoned the Lord, He has also abandoned you.’ ”

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?

And as the ark of the covenant of the Lord was coming into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth resounded.And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said,“ What does the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean?” Then they understood that the ark of the Lord had come into the camp.So the Philistines were afraid, for they said,“ God has come into the camp!” And they said,“ Woe to us! For nothing like this has happened before.

Devise a plan, but it will fail; State a proposal, but it will not stand, For God is with us.”

Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, he raised his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him,“ Are you for us or for our enemies?”He said,“ No; rather I have come now as captain of the army of the Lord.” And Joshua fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down, and said to him,“ What has my lord to say to his servant?”And the captain of the Lord’s army said to Joshua,“ Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” And He said,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,

He has not looked at misfortune in Jacob; Nor has He seen trouble in Israel; The Lord his God is with him, And the joyful shout of a king is among them.
