Every morning and evening they burn to the Lord burnt offerings and fragrant incense, and the showbread is set on the clean table, and the golden lampstand with its lamps is ready to light every evening; for we perform our duty to the Lord our God, but you have abandoned Him.

Every morning and evening they present burnt offerings and fragrant incense to the Lord. They set out the bread on the ceremonially clean table and light the lamps on the gold lampstand every evening. We are observing the requirements of the Lord our God. But you have forsaken him.

That table is‘ clean.’ They light the lamps on the gold lampstand every evening. We always do what the Lord our God requires in his law. But you have deserted him.

This is to be done in Israel forever.

“ Command the sons of Israel that they bring to you clear oil from beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.Outside the veil of the testimony in the tent of meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations.He shall keep the lamps in order on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord continually.“ Then you shall take fine flour and bake twelve cakes with it; two tenths of an ephah shall be in each cake.And you shall set them in two rows, six to a row, on the pure gold table before the Lord.You shall put pure frankincense on each row so that it may be a memorial portion for the bread, an offering by fire to the Lord.Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before the Lord continually; it is an everlasting covenant for the sons of Israel.And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him from the Lord’s offerings by fire, his portion forever.”

“ And you shall command the sons of Israel that they bring you clear oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually.In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord; it shall be a permanent statute throughout their generations for the sons of Israel.

“ Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one year old lambs each day, continuously.

And you shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before Me continually.“ Then you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand, its base and its shaft, are to be made of hammered work; its cups, its bulbs, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it.Six branches shall go out from its sides; three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its other side.Three cups shall be shaped like almond blossoms on the one branch, a bulb and a flower, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the other branch, a bulb and a flower— the same for six branches going out from the lampstand;and on the lampstand four cups shaped like almond blossoms, its bulbs and its flowers.A bulb shall be under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a bulb under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.Their bulbs and their branches shall be of one piece with it; all of it shall be one piece of hammered work of pure gold.Then you shall make its lamps seven in number; and they shall mount its lamps so as to shed light on the space in front of it.Its tongs and its trays shall be of pure gold.It shall be made from a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils.

“ Now you shall make an altar as a place for burning incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.Its length shall be a cubit, and its width a cubit; it shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits; its horns shall be of one piece with it.You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and its sides all around, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding all around for it.You shall also make two gold rings for it under its molding; you shall make them on its two sides— on opposite sides— and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it.And you shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.You shall put this altar in front of the veil that is near the ark of the testimony, in front of the atoning cover that is over the ark of the testimony, where I will meet with you.Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; he shall burn it every morning when he trims the lamps.And when Aaron sets up the lamps at twilight, he shall burn incense. There shall be perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations.You shall not offer any strange incense on this altar, or burnt offering, or meal offering; and you shall not pour out a drink offering on it.However, Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year; he shall make atonement on it with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once a year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the Lord.”

Do this: take censers for yourselves, Korah and your whole group,

And Moses said to Aaron,“ Take your censer and put fire in it from the altar, and place incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone out from the Lord, the plague has begun!”

“ But the Levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who took responsibility for My sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from Me, shall come near to Me to serve Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer Me the fat and the blood,” declares the Lord God.

It shall be for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have taken the responsibility I gave them, who did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray as the Levites went astray.

Even when the cloud lingered over the tabernacle for many days, the sons of Israel would comply with the Lord’s ordinance and not set out.

‘ Now when anyone presents a grain offering as an offering to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it.He shall then bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests; and he shall take from it his handful of its fine flour and of its oil, with all of its frankincense. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke as its memorial portion on the altar, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a most holy part of the offerings to the Lord by fire.

because Abraham obeyed Me and fulfilled his duty to Me, and kept My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.And the smoke of the incense ascended from the angel’s hand with the prayers of the saints before God.

according to the custom of the priestly office, he was chosen by lot to enter the temple of the Lord and burn incense.

And you have not taken responsibility for My holy things yourselves, but you have appointed foreigners to take responsibility for My sanctuary.”
