你看，是上帝在頭裏率領我們，和我們同在，他的祭司也拿着號筒大聲吹來攻擊你們。以色列人哪，不要同永恆主你們列祖的上帝交戰哦；因為你們是絕不能成功的。』

上帝偕我、為我首領、其祭司吹角、向爾發聲示警、以色列人歟、勿與爾列祖之上帝耶和華戰、蓋爾必不利達也、

上帝祐我、為我主宰、祭司吹角、其聲宏遠、以色列族歟、勿與爾列祖之上帝耶和華戰、必不得勝。

So you see, God is with us. He is our leader. His priests blow their trumpets and lead us into battle against you. O people of Israel, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed!”

Look, God and his priests are with us at our head. The trumpets are ready to sound the charge against you. Israelites, don’t fight against the LORD God of your ancestors, for you will not succeed.”

Now behold, God is with us at our head, and His priests with the signal trumpets to sound the war cry against you. Sons of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you will not succeed.”

Now look, God Himself is with us as our head, and His priests with sounding trumpets to sound the alarm against you. O children of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!”

but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice,

And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. The trumpets shall be to you for a perpetual statute throughout your generations.And when you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the Lord your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

They shall be like mighty men in battle, trampling the foe in the mud of the streets; they shall fight because the Lord is with them, and they shall put to shame the riders on horses.

“ Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it,‘ What are you making?’ or‘ Your work has no handles’?

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength— who has hardened himself against him, and succeeded?—

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

and you shall grope at noonday, as the blind grope in darkness, and you shall not prosper in your ways. And you shall be only oppressed and robbed continually, and there shall be no one to help you.

For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

I set a snare for you and you were taken, O Babylon, and you did not know it; you were found and caught, because you opposed the Lord.

for the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.’

And the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord walked on, and they blew the trumpets continually. And the armed men were walking before them, and the rear guard was walking after the ark of the Lord, while the trumpets blew continually.And the second day they marched around the city once, and returned into the camp. So they did for six days.On the seventh day they rose early, at the dawn of day, and marched around the city in the same manner seven times. It was only on that day that they marched around the city seven times.And at the seventh time, when the priests had blown the trumpets, Joshua said to the people,“ Shout, for the Lord has given you the city.And the city and all that is within it shall be devoted to the Lord for destruction. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent.But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel a thing for destruction and bring trouble upon it.But all silver and gold, and every vessel of bronze and iron, are holy to the Lord; they shall go into the treasury of the Lord.”So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.

From it too you will come away with your hands on your head, for the Lord has rejected those in whom you trust, and you will not prosper by them.

“ Say, Thus says the Lord God: Will it thrive? Will he not pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, so that it withers, so that all its fresh sprouting leaves wither? It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it from its roots.

Because he has stretched out his hand against God and defies the Almighty,running stubbornly against him with a thickly bossed shield;

But Moses said,“ Why now are you transgressing the command of the Lord, when that will not succeed?

And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand from each tribe, together with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, with the vessels of the sanctuary and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand.

Then the Spirit of God clothed Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, and he stood above the people, and said to them,“ Thus says God,‘ Why do you break the commandments of the Lord, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the Lord, he has forsaken you.’”

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

As soon as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel gave a mighty shout, so that the earth resounded.And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shouting, they said,“ What does this great shouting in the camp of the Hebrews mean?” And when they learned that the ark of the Lord had come to the camp,the Philistines were afraid, for they said,“ A god has come into the camp.” And they said,“ Woe to us! For nothing like this has happened before.

Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing; speak a word, but it will not stand, for God is with us.

When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him,“ Are you for us, or for our adversaries?”And he said,“ No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him,“ What does my lord say to his servant?”And the commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua,“ Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”And he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” And he said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The Lord their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.
