耶和華我們的神啊！在你以外，曾有別的主管轄我們，但只有你，我們要承認你的名。

因為你在這樣富足的時候，沒有以歡樂和高興的心來事奉耶和華你的神，所以你必在飢餓、乾渴、赤身露體和缺乏之中，去事奉耶和華派來攻擊你的仇敵；他必把鐵軛放在你的頸項上，直到把你消滅。

他們雖然在列國中賄買人，我現在卻要招聚他們。他們因著君王和領袖所加的重擔，逐漸衰微。

我們今天竟成了奴僕！就是在你賜給我們列祖享用其上果實和美物之地，我們竟在這地上作了奴僕！

耶和華啊！求你只按著公正懲治我，不要按著你的忿怒施行懲治，免得你使我衰微。

這些國的人是耶和華留下的，為要藉著他們來試驗以色列人，就是所有沒有經驗過迦南任何戰爭的人；
