耶和华我们的神啊！在你以外，曾有别的主管辖我们，但只有你，我们要承认你的名。

因为你在这样富足的时候，没有以欢乐和高兴的心来事奉耶和华你的神，所以你必在饥饿、干渴、赤身露体和缺乏之中，去事奉耶和华派来攻击你的仇敌；他必把铁轭放在你的颈项上，直到把你消灭。

他们虽然在列国中贿买人，我现在却要招聚他们。他们因着君王和领袖所加的重担，逐渐衰微。

我们今天竟成了奴仆！就是在你赐给我们列祖享用其上果实和美物之地，我们竟在这地上作了奴仆！

耶和华啊！求你只按着公正惩治我，不要按着你的忿怒施行惩治，免得你使我衰微。

这些国的人是耶和华留下的，为要藉着他们来试验以色列人，就是所有没有经验过迦南任何战争的人；
