and Solomon and the whole assembly went to the high place at Gibeon, for God’s tent of meeting was there, which Moses the Lord’s servant had made in the wilderness.

Solomon and the whole community went to the high place at Gibeon. That’s because God’s tent of meeting was there. The Lord’ s servant Moses had made the tent in the desert.

And Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon, for the tent of meeting of God, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness, was there.

Then he led the entire assembly to the place of worship in Gibeon, for God’s Tabernacle was located there.( This was the Tabernacle that Moses, the Lord’s servant, had made in the wilderness.)

爾立幕當先作十幔、或作爾為幕當作十幔以撚之白細麻、與藍色紫色絳色之縷作之、按精細織法、上織基路伯、每幔長二十八尺、廣四尺、諸幔長廣維一、五幔連成一幅、又五幔連成一幅、作藍色襻、置於此幅末幔之邊、彼幅末幔之邊亦如是、此幅邊作五十襻、彼幅邊作五十襻、兩邊之襻須相對、又作金鈎五十、鈎連諸幔、使成一幕、○以山羊毛作十一幔、以為外幕、每幔長三十尺、廣四尺、十一幔長廣維一、當連五幔成為一幅、又連六幔成為一幅、摺第六幔之半、垂於幕前、當作五十襻、置於此幅末幔之邊、彼幅末幔之邊亦如是、又作銅鈎五十、貫鈎於襻、使外幕連為一、幕幔所餘、即所餘之彼半幔、可垂於幕後、外幕之幔、兩旁各餘一尺、可垂於幕之兩旁以蔽之、復以牡山羊皮之染紅者為幕作蓋、又以海龍皮作蓋於其上、○爾以什停木、為幕作豎板、每板長十尺、廣一尺有半、每板必有二榫相對、一切幕板、俱當按此法而作、幕之南作板二十、作銀座四十、每一板下二座、以接板之二榫、幕之北、原文作幕之北旁即北面作板二十、作銀座四十、每一板下二座、幕之西、即幕後、作板六、幕後兩頭之隅、作板二、幕隅之板有環、使幕隅之板、上下聯合、二隅俱如是、其板凡八、銀座十六、每一板下二座、又以什停木作楗、左旁之幕板上作五楗、右旁之幕板上作五楗、後旁之幕板上、即西旁之幕板上、亦作五楗、當中之楗須在板內、由此邊達於彼邊、板須以金蔽之、又作金環貫楗、楗亦以金蔽之、爾立幕、必遵山上示爾之式、○以藍色紫色絳色縷、與撚之白細麻、製幕幔、按精細織法、上織基路伯、以什停木作柱四、以金蔽之、柱有金鈎、用以垂幔、四柱安於四銀座之上、既垂幔於鈎、以法匱置於幔內、以幔為隔、區別聖所與至聖所、以贖罪蓋、置於至聖所內之法匱上、在幔外、幕之北置案、幕之南置燈臺、須彼此相對、又以藍色紫色絳色縷、與撚之白細麻、作幕門之簾、上繡花紋、以什停木、為簾作柱五、蔽之以金、上置金鈎、又為之鑄銅座五、

正月朔、爾當建會幕、

凡有智慧心者、作會幕、先作十幔、用撚之白細麻與藍色紫色絳色縷作之、按精細織法、上織基路伯、

所羅門王往基遍獻祭、蓋基遍有大邱壇、於此壇獻犧牲一千、以為火焚祭、在基遍夜夢中、主顯現於所羅門曰、爾欲我何所賜、爾惟求之、所羅門曰、主之僕我父大衛以誠實善義正心、行於主前、主向之施鴻恩、又為之存此大恩、使其子繼繼原文作坐其位、有如今日、主我之天主使僕繼父大衛為王、我尚幼童、不知如何出入、僕居主所選之民中、其民甚眾、不可勝數、主之民眾多、孰能判斷其間乎、求主以智慧賜僕、能辨是非、為民折中、所羅門因求此、主悅其言、天主謂之曰、爾既求此、不求壽、不求富、亦不求勝敵、但求智慧、俾可聽訟、我則允爾所求、以聰明智慧之心賜爾、爾之前未有如爾者、爾之後亦無如爾者、爾所未求者、即富與貴我亦賜爾、使爾在世之日、列王中無一可比爾者、如爾法爾父大衛、行我道、守我律例誡命、我則賜爾遐齡、所羅門寤、乃知為夢、遂至耶路撒冷、立於主之約匱前、獻火焚祭與平安祭、又為臣僕設宴、○
