當諸王在位的時候，天上的神必另立一個永不敗壞的國度，這國度必不歸給其他百姓，卻要打碎滅絕所有的國度，存立到永遠。你既看見非人手鑿出來的一塊石頭從山而出，打碎鐵、銅、泥、銀、金，那就是至大的神把將來要發生的事給王指明。這夢是確實的，這解釋也是準確的。」當時，尼布甲尼撒王臉伏於地，向但以理下拜，並且吩咐人給他奉上供物和香。王對但以理說：「你既能講明這奧祕，你們的神誠然是萬神之神、萬王之主，是奧祕的啟示者。」

「時候到了，我－尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，我的知識復歸於我，我就稱頌至高者，讚美尊敬活到永遠的神。他的權柄存到永遠，他的國度存到萬代。

「諸王之王亞達薛西，達於精通天上之神律法的以斯拉祭司文士等等：現在

他獻上自己作人人的贖價；在適當的時候這事已經證實了。

不叫我們陷入試探；救我們脫離那惡者。因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的，直到永遠。阿們！』
