Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Everyone should provide for their own relatives. Most of all, everyone should take care of their own family. If they don’t, they have left the faith. They are worse than someone who doesn’t believe.

爾曹雖不善、尚知以嘉物予子、況爾在天之父、豈不以嘉物予求之者乎、

有敬虔之貌、而無其實、若此者宜遠之、

基督與惡者、何契之有、信者與不信者、何與之有、

又弗聽、則告於會、弗聽會、則視之猶異邦人與稅吏、可也、

當我未至、所有鮮少、今則滋育繁多、耶和華緣我足跡所至、錫爾以嘏、然我何時成立己家乎、

蓋於上帝前我在得救者及沉淪者中、為基督之馨香、於此為由死致死之臭味、於彼為由生致生之臭味、孰堪任此乎、

我知爾居所、乃撒但之座所在、昔我忠信之證者安提帕、見殺於爾中、即撒但之所居、爾則持我名、亦未嘗拒我道、

我知爾諸行、爾有微能、已守我道、未棄我名、我於爾前、賜以既開之門、無能闔者、

蓋有數人潛入、即自昔所預載以服此鞫者、彼乃不虔之人、以我上帝之恩、反縱其慾、而不認唯一主宰及我主耶穌基督、○

若我未來誨之、彼則無罪、今其罪無可諉矣、

僕知主意而不備、不順其意者、見扑必多、惟不知而作當扑之事者、見扑必少、蓋多予之、必多取之、多託之、必多索之、○

昔有偽先知起於民間、爾中亦將有偽師、私傳左道以陷人、拒贖之之主、自取速亡、
