Scripture says,“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Scripture also says,“ Workers are worthy of their pay.”( Luke 10:7)

For the Scripture says,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and,“ The laborer deserves his wages.”

『牛踹穀時、你不可籠住牠的嘴。

誰當兵，自備糧餉呢？誰栽葡萄園，不喫它的果子呢？誰牧養羊羣，不喫羊羣的奶子呢？這些話、我豈是照人的意見說的呢？律法不也是這樣說麼？在摩西的律法上記着說：『牛踹穀時、你別套住牠的嘴。』難道上帝是關心於牛麼？還是特為我們說的呢？的確是為我們而寫的；因為犂田的該存着指望犂；打穀的該存着分享的指望打。

主也這樣規定、叫傳布福音的靠着福音而生活。

你們要住在那一家，喫喝他們所供給的；因為工人得酬報是應當的。不要從這家搬到那家。

路上不要帶口袋，不要帶兩件褂子，不要帶鞋，或帶手杖；因為工人是配得其食物的。

『困苦貧窮的雇工、無論是你的族弟兄、或是寄居在你的地你的城內的、你都不可欺壓他。你要當天發給他工價，不可等到日落才給他——因為他貧困，他心直掛念着那工錢——恐怕他呼求永恆主而控告你，你就有了罪。

『不可欺壓你的鄰舍，也不可搶奪他的東西；雇工人的工錢不可在你那裏過夜到早晨。

『上帝切慕他所安置在我們裏面居住的靈、至於狂熱』你們想這一句經是空說的麼？

因為經上說：『凡信靠他的總不至於失望。』

經書早就見到：上帝要使外國人本於信而得稱義，所以早就傳好消息給亞伯拉罕說：『眾外國必在你身上蒙祝福』。

因為經上怎麼說呢？『亞伯拉罕信上帝，這就算為他的義了。』

因為經上有話對法老說：『我將你舉起來，正是要證顯我的權能在你身上，並在全地上遍傳我的名。』

上帝並沒有把他所豫知的子民推開啊。你們不曉得經上在以利亞那段所說的麼？他怎樣向上帝懇求告以色列說：
