For Scripture says,“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and“ The worker deserves his wages.”

Scripture says,“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Scripture also says,“ Workers are worthy of their pay.”( Luke 10:7)

For the Scripture says,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and,“ The laborer deserves his wages.”

For the Scripture says,“ You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place,“ Those who work deserve their pay!”

「牛在場上踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。」

有誰當兵自備糧餉呢？有誰栽葡萄園不吃園裏的果子呢？有誰牧養牛羊不吃牛羊的奶呢？我說這話，豈是照人的意見；律法不也是這樣說嗎？就如摩西的律法記着說：「牛在場上踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。」難道神所掛念的是牛嗎？不全是為我們說的嗎？分明是為我們說的。因為耕種的當存着指望去耕種；打場的也當存得糧的指望去打場。

主也是這樣命定，叫傳福音的靠着福音養生。

你們要住在那家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為工人得工價是應當的；不要從這家搬到那家。

行路不要帶口袋；不要帶兩件褂子，也不要帶鞋和柺杖。因為工人得飲食是應當的。

「困苦窮乏的雇工，無論是你的弟兄或是在你城裏寄居的，你不可欺負他。要當日給他工價，不可等到日落－因為他窮苦，把心放在工價上－恐怕他因你求告耶和華，罪便歸你了。

「不可欺壓你的鄰舍，也不可搶奪他的物。雇工人的工價，不可在你那裏過夜，留到早晨。

你們想經上所說是徒然的嗎？神所賜、住在我們裏面的靈，是戀愛至於嫉妒嗎？

經上說：「凡信他的人必不至於羞愧。」

並且聖經既然預先看明，神要叫外邦人因信稱義，就早已傳福音給亞伯拉罕，說：「萬國都必因你得福。」

經上說甚麼呢？說：「亞伯拉罕信神，這就算為他的義。」

因為經上有話向法老說：「我將你興起來，特要在你身上彰顯我的權能，並要使我的名傳遍天下。」

神並沒有棄絕他預先所知道的百姓。你們豈不曉得經上論到以利亞是怎麼說的呢？他在神面前怎樣控告以色列人說：
