For Scripture says,“ Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and“ The worker deserves his wages.”

Scripture says,“ Do not stop an ox from eating while it helps separate the grain from the straw.”( Deuteronomy 25:4) Scripture also says,“ Workers are worthy of their pay.”( Luke 10:7)

For the Scripture says,“ You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and,“ The laborer deserves his wages.”

“牛在踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。

有誰當兵要自備糧餉呢？有誰栽種葡萄園，不吃園裡的果子呢？有誰牧養羊群，不喝羊的奶呢？我說這話，不是照著人的意見，律法不也是這樣說嗎？就在摩西的律法上記著說：“牛踹穀的時候，不可籠住牠的嘴。”難道神關心的只是牛嗎？這不全是為我們說的嗎？當然是為我們說的，因為耕種的應當存著希望去耕種，收割的也應當存著希望去分享收穫。

主也曾這樣吩咐，叫傳福音的人靠福音為生。

你們要住在那家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為作工的理當得工資；不必從這家搬到那家。

路上不要帶行囊，也不要帶兩件衣裳，不要帶鞋或手杖，因為作工的理當得到供應。

“困苦貧窮的雇工，無論是你的兄弟，或是寄居在你的地上你的城裡的，你都不可欺壓他。你要當日給他工錢，不可等到日落，因為他貧窮，把心放在工錢上，免得他對你不滿而呼求耶和華，你就有罪了。

“不可欺壓你的鄰舍，也不可搶奪他的東西；雇工的工錢，不可扣留在你那裡到早晨。

聖經說：“神愛他那安置在我們裡面的靈，愛到嫉妒的地步”（或譯：“神安置在我們裡面的靈，愛到嫉妒的地步”），你們想這話是徒然的嗎？

經上說：“所有信靠他的人，必不致失望。”

聖經既然預先看見神要使外族人因信稱義，就預先把好信息傳給亞伯拉罕：“萬國都必因你得福。”

經上怎麼樣說呢？“亞伯拉罕信神，這就算為他的義。”

經上有話對法老說：“我把你興起來，是要藉著你顯出我的大能，並且使我的名傳遍全地。”

神並沒有丟棄他預先知道的子民。難道你們不知道在經上以利亞的話是怎樣說的嗎？他向神控訴以色列人：
