有谁当兵要自备粮饷呢？有谁栽种葡萄园，却不吃园中出产的葡萄呢？有谁牧养牛羊，却不喝牛羊的奶呢？我这样说难道只是人的观点吗？律法不也是这样说的吗？摩西的律法书上说：“牛在踩谷时，不可笼住它的嘴。”难道上帝关心的只是牛吗？祂这样说难道不是为了我们吗？这话的确是为我们写的，因为耕耘的和打谷的农夫都应该存着分享收成的盼望劳作。

同样，主也曾吩咐：传福音的人理当借着福音得到生活的供应。

不要搬来搬去，要固定住在一家，接受那家的款待，因为工人理应得到工钱。

不要带行李、备用的衣服、鞋子或手杖，因为做工的理应得到供应。

“不可欺压穷苦的雇工，不论他们是你们的同胞，还是住在你们城中的外族人。你们要在每天日落前付给他们工钱，因为他们穷苦，靠工钱维生；否则他们向耶和华控诉你们，你们就有罪了。

不可欺压邻居，也不可抢夺他的东西。要当天支付雇工的工钱，不可拖到第二天。

圣经上说：“上帝所赐、住在我们心里的圣灵深愿我们完全属于祂。”你们以为这是空谈吗？

正如圣经上说：“信靠祂的人必不致蒙羞。”

圣经早就指明，上帝要叫外族人因信而被称为义人，祂预先将福音传给亚伯拉罕，说：“万国必因你而蒙福。”

圣经上不是说“亚伯拉罕信上帝，就被算为义人”吗？

圣经记载着上帝对法老说的话：“我使你兴起是为了在你身上彰显我的权能，使我的名传遍天下。”

上帝并没有放弃祂预先拣选的子民。你们不知道圣经上有关以利亚先知的记载吗？他在上帝面前控告以色列人，说：
