亦欲婦女衣素衣、幽嫻貞靜、辮髮金珠文繡、不以為飾、

又愿女人廉耻、自守，以正派衣裳为妆饰，不以编发、黄金、珍珠，和贵价的衣裳为妆饰，

我也希望女人以端正、克制和合乎体统的服装打扮自己，不以编发、金饰、珍珠和名贵衣裳来打扮。

亦欲婦女所衣合宜、有廉恥、能謹守、勿以編髮及金珠與珍貴之衣為飾、

信女服裝、務宜端正素樸、若辮髮、金珠、文繡、皆非所宜。

I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,

In the same way, I want the women to be careful how they dress. They should wear clothes that are right and proper. They shouldn’t wear their hair in very fancy styles. They shouldn’t wear gold or pearls. They shouldn’t wear clothes that cost a lot of money.

likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,

And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes.

婦所尚者、不在外飾、辮髮、金玦、文繡、勿加於身、乃謹內心、其神沖和恬靜、此飾不敝、上帝以之為貴、維昔淑女、上帝是賴、以此自飾、亦順其夫、

耶和華兮、喜悅其民、救彼貧乏、被以寵榮兮、

老婦所為、亦當敬虔、勿謠諑、勿嗜酒、宜以善教人、使少婦敬夫慈子、必廉節貞靜、處內懿行、毋違夫子、免人謗讟上帝道、

爾邦淪喪、將如之何、雖衣絳垂金、修容飾目、俱為徒勞、昔與爾行淫者、必藐視爾、謀害爾。

耶和華曰、郇邑之女、驕侈性成、延頸遠眺、送目流盼、步細而捷、足曳金釧、音韻鏗鏘、

處女之簪珥、新婦之衣裳、無刻或忘、惟我民忘予、歷時已久。

耶戶至耶斯烈、耶洗別聞之、則櫛髮修容、自牖而窺。

取金銀器皿、與衣、饋利百加、又以寶物饋其兄、及其母。

曷為衣服慮耶、試思野有百合花、如何而長、不勞不紡、我語汝、當所羅門榮華之極、其衣不及此花之一、

有婦相迎、炫妝若妓、巧其心思、

除其足釧、解其彩絡、脫其月笄、去其耳環手釧、褫其蔽面之帕、摘其蒙首之巾、以及足練、文紳、香盒、祛邪之籙。指環鼻環、華衣、公服、外飾之裳、荷囊。銅鏡、衵服、蔽首之帕、被身之巾、除其馨香、蒙以不潔、去其彩紳、繫以縲絏、髠其卷髮、代以童首、褫其繡衣、束以麻布、毀其姿容、加以烙印。

手製寢衣、自服赤綿。

越三日后衣朝服、進深宮、入內院、至殿前、王坐於堂上。

后居宮閫、尊榮莫加、衣以金織、縱橫相間兮。袞衣繡裳、朝覲君王、侍女相從兮、

爾出欲何觀耶、人衣美服乎、夫衣美服者、在王宮也、

城邑傾圮、歷年已多、荒蕪特甚、將復建造。

我洗爾以水、去爾污衊、沐爾以膏、衣爾以繡、以貂皮作履、以棉為巾幗、以絲為長服、加以首飾、著釧於手、垂金於項、置環於鼻、懸珥於耳、戴冕於首、備極華美、以金銀飾爾之體、以棉絲絺繡、被爾之身、以麵及蜜與油、果爾之腹、遂成艷麗、邦國之興、亦若是。主耶和華又曰、爾有殊色、榮煌赫奕、名震列邦、我使之然。惟爾自恃其美、聲名洋溢、故縱私欲、無論何人、隨在與之行淫。爾取衣服、五彩俱備、飾諸崇坵、狥欲而行、自昔迄今、未有若此、後亦無有。
