I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.

我愿男人无忿怒，无争论，举起圣洁的手，随处祷告；

我希望男人舉起聖潔的手隨處禱告，不發怒，不爭論。

我希望男人舉起聖潔的手隨處禱告，不發怒，不爭論。

我願男人舉起聖潔的手隨處禱告，不發怒，不爭辯。

因此，我願意男人沒有忿怒，沒有爭論，舉起聖潔的手隨處禱告。

所以我願男人在各地方禱告，無忿怒無爭論地舉起虔聖的手來祈禱。

所以，我希望在各個地方的男人都舉起聖潔的手禱告，不動怒、不爭論；

故我欲人無怒無爭、舉維聖之手隨在祈禱、

我欲人拱手敬虔、毋怒毋疑、隨在祈禱、

我欲人無怒無爭、隨在舉聖潔之手而祈禱、

吾望信眾隨處祈禱；祈禱時、應舉聖潔之手、更須平心靜氣。

Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.

So I want the men in every place to pray. I want them to lift up holy hands. I don’t want them to be angry when they pray. I don’t want them to argue.

I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

Therefore, I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or argument.

Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger and dispute.

I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing.

Therefore, I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or argument.

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

So I want the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute.

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary. Praise Yahweh!

So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double- minded.

When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water,

I desire therefore that the younger widows marry, bear children, rule the household, and give no occasion to the adversary for insulting.

Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods that you have not known,then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say,‘ We are delivered;’ that you may do all these abominations?

Jesus said to her,“ Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father.

When those days were over, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city. Kneeling down on the beach, we prayed.

This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;

a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.

Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.

He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said,“ What is it, Lord?” He said to him,“ Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.

I called on your name, Yahweh, out of the lowest dungeon.You heard my voice:“ Don’t hide your ear from my sighing, and my cry.”

Yet I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.

“ Now, please entreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious to us. With this, will he accept any of you?” says Yahweh of Armies.“ Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ neither will I accept an offering at your hand.For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering: for my name is great among the nations,” says Yahweh of Armies.

Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you, and Yahweh’s glory will be your rear guard.Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say,‘ Here I am.’“ If you take away from among you the yoke, finger pointing, and speaking wickedly;and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday;and Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.

He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice,“ Lord, don’t hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he fell asleep.

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother,‘ Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.“ If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.For that man shouldn’t think that he will receive anything from the Lord.He is a double- minded man, unstable in all his ways.

But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshipers.God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish’s belly.He said,“ I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice.

Jesus answered them,“ Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith, and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain,‘ Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.

Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.

For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain,‘ Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says.Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.

He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

and said,‘ Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.

“ For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

He said to Jesus,“ Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”Jesus said to him,“ Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, Yahweh,

If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened.

Although there is no violence in my hands, and my prayer is pure.

Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh.Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination— how much more, when he brings it with a wicked mind!

Therefore Yahweh brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.When he was in distress, he begged Yahweh his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.

God said to him,“ Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have you asked for riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice;

He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth. I afflicted my soul with fasting. My prayer returned into my own bosom.

The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
