For this is God’s will: that you become holy, that you keep away from sexual immorality,

It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;

God wants you to be made holy. He wants you to stay away from sexual sins.

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality;

God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.

For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you keep away from sexual immorality,

For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality;

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality;

For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication;

For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality,

in that he spends the rest of his time on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.

Now may the God of peace himself make you completely holy and may your spirit and soul and body be kept entirely blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God– what is good and well- pleasing and perfect.

For this reason do not be foolish, but be wise by understanding what the Lord’s will is.

But among you there must not be either sexual immorality, impurity of any kind, or greed, as these are not fitting for the saints.Neither should there be vulgar speech, foolish talk, or coarse jesting– all of which are out of character– but rather thanksgiving.For you can be confident of this one thing: that no person who is immoral, impure, or greedy( such a person is an idolater) has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers.

that each of you know how to possess his own body in holiness and honor,

So put to deat h whatever in your nature belongs to the earth: sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, evil desire, and greed which is idolatry.

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity,

I want to do what pleases you, my God. Your law dominates my thoughts.”

“ Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.” The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.Now God indeed raised the Lord and he will raise us by his power.Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!Or do you not know that anyone who is united with a prostitute is one body with her? For it is said,“ The two will become one flesh.”But the one united with the Lord is one spirit with him.Flee sexual immorality!“ Every sin a person commits is outside of the body”– but the immoral person sins against his own body.

But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”

For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

But because of immoralities, each man should have relations with his own wife and each woman with her own husband.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals,thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by the Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ’s blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure!

to open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Jesus said to them,“ My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to complete his work.

Teach me to do what pleases you, for you are my God. May your kind presence lead me into a level land.

but that we should write them a letter telling them to abstain from things defiled by idols and from sexual immorality and from what has been strangled and from blood.

I am afraid that when I come again, my God may humiliate me before you, and I will grieve for many of those who previously sinned and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced.

But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.

For you need endurance in order to do God’s will and so receive what is promised.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

And now I entrust you to God and to the message of his grace. This message is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people.In no way did I mean the immoral people of this world, or the greedy and swindlers and idolaters, since you would then have to go out of the world.But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a Christian who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive, or a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person.

He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood!

Epaphras, who is one of you and a slave of Christ, greets you. He is always struggling in prayer on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

And see to it that no one becomes an immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal.

He gave himself for us to set us free from every kind of lawlessness and to purify for himself a people who are truly his, who are eager to do good.

They are filled with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips,

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

For this reason we also, from the day we heard about you, have not ceased praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

If anyone wants to do God’s will, he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority.
