We sent Timothy, our brother and fellow worker for God in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen you and encourage you about your faith,

We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co- worker in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,

We sent our brother Timothy to give you strength and hope in your faith. He works together with us in God’s service to spread the good news about Christ.

and we sent Timothy, our brother and God’s coworker in the gospel of Christ, to establish and exhort you in your faith,

and we sent Timothy to visit you. He is our brother and God’s co worker in proclaiming the Good News of Christ. We sent him to strengthen you, to encourage you in your faith,

And we sent Timothy, our brother and God’s coworker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you concerning your faith,

and we sent Timothy, our brother and God’s fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you for the benefit of your faith,

They strengthened the souls of the disciples and encouraged them to continue in the faith, saying,“ We must enter the kingdom of God through many persecutions.”When they had appointed elders for them in the various churches, with prayer and fasting they entrusted them to the protection of the Lord in whom they had believed.

Tychicus, my dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make everything known to you, so that you too may know about my circumstances, how I am doing.I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts.

Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be encouraged by hearing news about you.For there is no one here like him who will readily demonstrate his deep concern for you.Others are busy with their own concerns, not those of Jesus Christ.But you know his qualifications, that like a son working with his father, he served with me in advancing the gospel.So I hope to send him as soon as I know more about my situation,though I am confident in the Lord that I too will be coming to see you soon.But for now I have considered it necessary to send Epaphroditus to you. For he is my brother, coworker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to me in my need.

And since I am sure of this, I know that I will remain and continue with all of you for the sake of your progress and joy in the faith,

Timothy, my fellow worker, greets you; so do Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my compatriots.

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the one who was proclaimed among you by us– by me and Silvanus and Timothy– was not“ Yes” and“ No,” but it has always been“ Yes” in him.

For this reason, I have sent Timothy to you, who is my dear and faithful son in the Lord. He will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church.

If there is any question about Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you; if there is any question about our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, a glory to Christ.

Now if Timothy comes, see that he has nothing to fear among you, for he is doing the Lord’s work, as I am too.So then, let no one treat him with contempt. But send him on his way in peace so that he may come to me. For I am expecting him with the brothers.With regard to our brother Apollos: I strongly encouraged him to visit you with the other brothers, but it was simply not his intention to come now. He will come when he has the opportunity.

He also came to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple named Timothy was there, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but whose father was a Greek.

Now when Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul became wholly absorbed with proclaiming the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.

From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God that is in Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia.

Then the brothers sent Paul away to the coast at once, but Silas and Timothy remained in Berea.Those who accompanied Paul escorted him as far as Athens, and after receiving an order for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they left.

Epaphras, who is one of you and a slave of Christ, greets you. He is always struggling in prayer on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

I sent him with Onesimus, the faithful and dear brother, who is one of you. They will tell you about everything here.

So the churches were being strengthened in the faith and were increasing in number every day.

You learned the gospel from Epaphras, our dear fellow slave– a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf–

From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

so that your hearts are strengthened in holiness to be blameless before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

I had no relief in my spirit, because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I said good- bye to them and set out for Macedonia.
