摩西向天伸杖，耶和華就打雷下雹，有火降到地上；耶和華下雹在埃及地上。那時，有雹，也有火在雹中閃爍，極其嚴重；自從埃及立國以來，全地沒有像這樣的。在埃及全地，冰雹擊打田間所有的人和牲畜，擊打一切的菜蔬，也打壞了田間一切的樹木。

上帝啊，眾水見你，眾水一見你就都驚惶，深淵也都戰抖。密雲倒出水來，天空發出響聲，你的箭也飛行四方。你的雷聲在旋風之中，閃電照亮世界，大地戰抖震動。

耶和華使西西拉和他一切的戰車，以及全軍潰亂，在巴拉面前倒在刀下。西西拉下了車，徒步逃跑。

烈火在他前頭行，燒滅他四圍的敵人。他的閃電光照世界，大地看見就震動。

以黑暗為藏身之處，以水的黑暗、天空的密雲作四圍的行宮。因他發出光輝，冰雹和火炭穿透密雲。耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出聲音，就有冰雹和火炭。他射出箭來，使仇敵四散；發出連串的閃電，擊潰他們。

他回答我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的話。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。

又有閃電、響聲、雷轟、大地震，自從地上有人以來沒有這樣大、這樣厲害的地震。那大城裂為三段，列國的城也都倒塌了。上帝記起了大巴比倫城，把那盛自己烈怒的酒杯遞給她。各海島都逃避了，眾山也不見了。又有大冰雹從天掉落在人身上，每一個約重一他連得，以致人因冰雹的災難而褻瀆上帝，因為那災難太大了。
