大卫吩咐亚希米勒的儿子亚比亚他祭司把以弗得拿来，亚比亚他就拿给他。

大卫对亚希米勒的儿子祭司亚比亚他说：“请你将以弗得拿过来。”亚比亚他就将以弗得拿到大卫面前。

大卫对亚希米勒的儿子亚比亚他祭司说：“请你把以弗得拿来给我。”亚比亚他就把以弗得拿给大卫。

大卫对亚希米勒的儿子亚比亚他祭司说：“请你把以弗得拿来给我。”亚比亚他就把以弗得拿给大卫。

大卫对亚希米勒的儿子、亚比亚他祭司说：“请你把以弗得带到我这里来。”亚比亚他就把以弗得带到大卫那里去。

大卫对亚希米勒的儿子祭司亚比亚特说：“请把以弗得带到我这里来。”亚比亚特就把以弗得带到大卫那里。

大衛對亞希米勒的兒子祭司亞比亞他說：「請你將以弗得拿過來。」亞比亞他就將以弗得拿到大衛面前。

大衛對亞希米勒的兒子亞比亞他祭司說：「請你把以弗得拿來給我。」亞比亞他就把以弗得拿給大衛。

大衛對亞希米勒的兒子亞比亞他祭司說：「請你把以弗得拿來給我。」亞比亞他就把以弗得拿給大衛。

大衛吩咐亞希米勒的兒子亞比亞他祭司把以弗得拿來，亞比亞他就拿給他。

大衛對亞希米勒的兒子、亞比亞他祭司說：“請你把以弗得帶到我這裡來。”亞比亞他就把以弗得帶到大衛那裡去。

大衛對亞希米勒的兒子祭司亞比亞他說：『請將神諭像給我拿過來。』亞比亞他就將神諭像拿過去到大衛面前。

大衛對亞希米勒的兒子祭司亞比亞特說：「請把以弗得帶到我這裡來。」亞比亞特就把以弗得帶到大衛那裡。

大衛謂祭司亞希米勒子亞比亞他曰、請攜聖衣至、亞比亞他遂攜之至、

謂祭司亞希米勒子亞庇亞塔曰、請攜公服以至。亞庇亞塔攜公服至。

大衛謂祭司亞希米勒子亞比亞他曰、為我攜以弗得至、亞比亞他攜以弗得至大衛前、

Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelek,“ Bring me the ephod.” Abiathar brought it to him,

Then David spoke to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelek. He said,“ Bring me the linen apron.” Abiathar brought it to him.

And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

Then he said to Abiathar the priest,“ Bring me the ephod!” So Abiathar brought it.

David said to the priest Abiathar son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought it to him,

Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech,“ Please bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son,“ Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

David said to Abiathar the priest, son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought it to him,

And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

Then David said to the priest Abiathar son of Ahimelech,“ Bring me the ephod.” So Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech,“ Please bring the ephod here to me.” Abiathar brought the ephod to David.

只有亚希米勒的一个儿子亚比亚他逃出去，投奔了大卫。亚比亚他把扫罗屠杀耶和华祭司的事告诉了大卫，

便求问耶和华：“我可以去攻打非利士人吗？”耶和华答道：“你可以去攻打非利士人，营救基伊拉。”大卫的部下却对他说：“我们在犹大这里尚且胆战心惊，何况去基伊拉攻打非利士军队呢！”大卫再求问耶和华，耶和华答道：“到基伊拉去吧，我一定把非利士人交在你手里。”于是，大卫和部下到基伊拉去攻打非利士人，大败敌人，夺取了他们的牲畜，救出基伊拉人。亚希米勒的儿子祭司亚比亚他到基伊拉投奔大卫时，把以弗得也带了去。扫罗得知大卫在基伊拉，就说：“这一次是上帝把他交在我手中了，因为他竟然自投网罗，进入有门有闩的城。”扫罗召集全军准备攻打基伊拉，围困大卫和他的部下。大卫知道了扫罗的计谋，便吩咐祭司亚比亚他把以弗得带来，

王对亚比亚他祭司说：“你回亚拿突的老家去吧。你本是该死的，但我念你在我父大卫面前抬过主耶和华的约柜，曾经与我父亲患难与共，才饶你一命。”

在亚比亚他做大祭司时，他进入上帝的殿吃了献给上帝的供饼，还给他的部下吃。这饼只有祭司才可以吃。
