But David said,“ My brothers, you must not do this with what the LORD has given us. He protected us and handed over to us the raiders who came against us.

But David said,“ You must not do so, my brothers, with what the Lord has given us, for He has protected us and handed over to us the band of raiders that came against us.

你亲手赶出外族，把我们的祖先安置在那里；你击溃列邦，使我们的祖先兴旺发达。他们不是靠自己的刀剑征服那里，不是靠自己的臂膀得胜，而是靠你的权能、力量和恩惠，因为你爱他们。你是我的君王，我的上帝；你让雅各得胜。我们靠你击退敌人，靠你的名践踏仇敌。我不倚靠我的弓，我的剑不能使我得胜。只有你使我们战胜敌人，使我们的仇敌蒙羞。

耶和华必使你免受灾害，保护你的性命。不论你出或入，耶和华都会保护你，从现在直到永远。

说：“仆人们统计了手下出征的战士，未失一兵一卒。现在我们把各自虏获的臂环、镯子、图章戒指、耳环、项链等金器都带来献给耶和华，作为我们生命的赎价。”摩西和以利亚撒祭司收了他们所献的各种金制物品。千夫长和百夫长献给耶和华作举祭的金子约二百公斤。战士则保留了自己虏获的财物。摩西和以利亚撒祭司就把千夫长和百夫长献的金子带进会幕，在耶和华面前作以色列人的纪念。

贫穷富足在于祂，卑微高贵也在于祂。

迦勒底人向渔网献祭，向渔网烧香，因为他们靠渔网而富裕，食物充足。

大卫求问耶和华，说：“我该追赶敌人吗？我能追上他们吗？”耶和华答道：“追赶他们吧，你必能追上他们，救回一切。”

富贵和尊荣都从你而来，你掌管一切，你手中有权能和力量，能使人尊大、强盛。我们的上帝啊，我们称颂你，赞美你荣耀的名。“我算什么，我的人民算什么，怎么配向你奉献？因为万物都从你而来，我们只是把从你那里得来的献给你。
