耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統轄做衛兵的基利提人和比利提人；大衛的兒子都做祭司。

那麼永恆主就這麼說：看吧，我必伸手攻擊非利士人，剪除基利提人，滅盡沿海一帶餘剩之民。

沿海地帶的居民、基利提人的國有禍啊！有永恆主的話在譴責你們呢！非利士人之地啊，我必使你屈服；我必毁滅你，使你沒有居民。

於是祭司撒督、神言人拿單、耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅、和做衛兵的基利提人比利提人都下去，使所羅門騎上大衛王的騾子，將他送到基訓。

那人領大衛下去；只見他們都橫七豎八地臥在地面上，大家正喫喝歡躍地慶祝他們從非利士人之地和猶大地所拿來的那一大批掠物。

於是約書亞給迦勒祝福，將希伯崙給耶孚尼的兒子迦勒為產業。

約書亞照永恆主所吩咐他的、將猶大人中一分地業、基列亞巴、分給了耶孚尼的兒子迦勒；亞巴是亞衲人的祖（基列亞巴就是希伯崙）。

第三天大衛和跟隨的人到了洗革拉，亞瑪力人早已侵犯了南地和洗革拉了。他們擊破了洗革拉，又放火燒城；

耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅統轄做衛兵的基利提人和比利提人；大衛的兒子們都在王左右做長官。
