The Lord rewards everyone for their righteousness and faithfulness. The Lord delivered you into my hands today, but I would not lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed.

The Lord rewards everyone for doing what is right and being faithful. He handed you over to me today. But I wouldn’t harm you. You are the Lord’ s anointed king.

大卫对亚比筛说：“不可杀害他！有谁伸手害耶和华的受膏者而无罪呢？”

主啊，慈爱也是属乎你，因为你照着各人所做的报应他。

耶和华必按我的公义报答我，按我手中的清洁赏赐我。因为我遵守耶和华的道，未曾作恶离开我的神。他的一切典章常在我面前，他的律例我也未曾丢弃。我在他面前作了完全人，我也保护自己远离罪孽。所以耶和华按我的公义，在他眼前按我手中的清洁赏赐我。慈爱的人，你以慈爱待他；完全的人，你以完善待他。清洁的人，你以清洁待他；歪曲的人，你以弯曲待他。

耶和华向万民施行审判；耶和华啊，求你按我的公义和我心中的纯正判断我。愿恶人的恶断绝！愿你坚立义人！因为公义的神察验人的心肠肺腑。

耶和华绝不允许我伸手害耶和华的受膏者。现在你可以把他头旁的枪和水壶拿来，我们就走。”

他对他的人说：“耶和华绝不允许我对我的主，耶和华的受膏者做这事，伸手害他，因为他是耶和华的受膏者。”大卫用这话劝阻他的人，不许他们起来害扫罗。扫罗起来，从洞里出去，预备上路。
