又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐酬爾而受報也、惟設饌、請貧乏、廢疾、跛者、瞽者、則爾福矣、蓋彼不能報爾、而義人復生時、爾得報也、○

爾自以為吾取盤中之物、以分人、則無不潔矣、

以猶大人得免於敵、轉憂為喜、轉戚為愉、當於是日、設宴喜樂、饋嘉肴、賙貧乏。

頒食於眾、勿以七八為限、蓋爾後日貧乏、難以自料。

耶和華又召撒母耳。撒母耳起就以利曰、汝既召我、我在此矣。曰、我子、吾不召爾、復卧可也。

爾乃吾君父、第斷爾裾、今執於手以為證、我不加殺害、俾爾知我不犯上、初無不善。然爾遍索我、欲喪我命。
