my lord will not have on his conscience the staggering burden of needless bloodshed or of having avenged himself. And when the Lord your God has brought my lord success, remember your servant.”

When that happens, you won’t have this heavy load on your mind. You won’t have to worry about how you killed people without any reason. You won’t have to worry about how you got even. The Lord your God will give you success. When that happens, please remember me.”

又曰、耶穌、爾於爾國而來、其憶我、

大衛之僕至迦密、見亞比該曰、大衛遣我至此、欲娶爾為室、

夫我所以誇者、乃良心作證、非恃形軀之智、惟恃上帝之恩、以上帝所賦之聖與誠、為人於世、於爾曹為尤甚、

耶和華必依人公義誠實而報之、蓋今日耶和華付爾於我手、而我不願舉手攻其受膏者、

不食肉、不飲酒、凡事不使兄弟躓者、則善也、
