This was certainly not the first time I had consulted God for him! May the king not accuse me and my family in this matter, for I knew nothing at all of any plot against you.”

不過要以溫柔、敬畏的心答覆，並且持守無愧的良心，以致誰詆毀你們在基督裡的良好品行，誰就要在你們受到誹謗的事上蒙羞。要知道，即使神的旨意要你們因行善而受苦，也比因作惡而受苦更好，

那人難道不是對我說『她是我的妹妹』嗎？連那女人自己也說『他是我的哥哥』。我做這事心純手潔。」神藉著夢對他說：「是的，我知道你做這事心中純正，也是我攔阻了你，免得你對我犯罪；因此我沒有讓你碰她。
