David was in Naioth at Ramah. He ran away from there to where Jonathan was. He asked him,“ What have I done? What crime have I committed? I haven’t done anything to harm your father. So why is he trying to kill me?”

大卫逃离拉玛的纳约特，来见约拿单，说：“我做了什么？我的罪孽是什么？我在你父亲面前犯了什么罪，以致他要寻索我的性命呢？”

Then David fled from Naioth at Ramah and went to Jonathan and asked,“ What have I done? What is my crime? How have I wronged your father, that he is trying to kill me?”

Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah and came and said before Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my guilt? And what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

David now fled from Naioth in Ramah and found Jonathan.“ What have I done?” he exclaimed.“ What is my crime? How have I offended your father that he is so determined to kill me?”

David fled from Naioth in Ramah and came to Jonathan and asked,“ What have I done? What did I do wrong? How have I sinned against your father so that he wants to take my life?”

Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and he came and said to Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my guilt? And what is my sin before your father, that he is seeking my life?”

Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and went and said to Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my iniquity, and what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what is mine iniquity? and what is my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?

David fled from Naioth in Ramah and came to Jonathan and asked,“ What have I done? What did I do wrong? How have I sinned against your father so that he wants to take my life?”

And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what[ is] mine iniquity? and what[ is] my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?

David fled from Naioth in Ramah. He came to Jonathan and asked,“ What have I done? What is my offense? How have I sinned before your father? For he is seeking my life!”

David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan,“ What have I done? What is my iniquity? What is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?”

Since all this is true, then the Lord knows how to save godly people. He knows how to keep them safe in times of testing. The Lord also knows how to keep ungodly people under guard. He will do so until the day they will be judged and punished.

Saul was told,“ David is in Naioth at Ramah.”So Saul sent some men to capture him. When they got there, they saw a group of prophets who were prophesying. Samuel was standing there as their leader. Then the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men. So they also began to prophesy.Saul was told about it. So he sent some more men. They began to prophesy too. Saul sent some men a third time. And they also began to prophesy.Finally, Saul decided to go to Ramah himself. He went to the large well at Seku. He asked some people,“ Where are Samuel and David?”“ Over in Naioth at Ramah,” they said.So Saul went to Naioth at Ramah. But the Spirit of God even came on him. He walked along and prophesied until he came to Naioth.There he took off his clothes. Then he also prophesied in front of Samuel. He lay there without his clothes on all that day and night. That’s why people say,“ Is Saul also one of the prophets?”

The Lord has been good to me because I do what is right. He has rewarded me because I lead a pure life.I have lived the way the Lord wanted me to. I am not guilty of turning away from my God.I keep all his laws in mind. I haven’t turned away from his commands.He knows that I am without blame. He knows I’ve kept myself from sinning.The Lord has rewarded me for doing what is right. He has rewarded me because I haven’t done anything wrong.

Give praise to the Lord. He has not let our enemies chew us up.We have escaped like a bird from a hunter’s trap. The trap has been broken, and we have escaped.Our help comes from the Lord. He is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Here is what we take pride in. Our sense of what is right and wrong tells us how we have acted. We have lived with honor and godly honesty. We have depended on God’s grace and not on the world’s wisdom. We lived that way most of all when we were dealing with you.

Lord my God, suppose I have done something wrong. Suppose I am guilty.Or I have done evil to my friend. Or I have robbed my enemy without any reason.Then let my enemy chase me and catch me. Let him stomp me into the ground. Let him bury me in the dust.

“ You are a better person than I am,” he said.“ You have treated me well. But I’ve treated you badly.

Look, my father! Look at this piece of your robe in my hand! I cut off the corner of your robe. But I didn’t kill you. See, there is nothing in my hand that shows I am guilty of doing anything wrong. I haven’t turned against you. I haven’t done anything to harm you. But you are hunting me down. You want to kill me.

Here I stand. Bring charges against me if you can. The Lord is a witness. And so is his anointed king. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Have I cheated anyone? Have I treated anyone badly? Have I accepted money from anyone who wanted special favors? If I’ve done any of these things, I’ll make it right.”

He said to Saul,“ Why do you listen when men say,‘ David is trying to harm you’?

Saul was going along one side of the mountain. David and his men were on the other side. They were hurrying to get away from Saul. Saul and his army were closing in on David and his men. They were about to capture them.Just then a messenger came to Saul. He said,“ Come quickly! The Philistines are attacking the land.”So Saul stopped chasing David. He went to fight against the Philistines. That’s why they call that place Sela Hammahlekoth.

Dear friends, if our hearts do not judge us, we can be bold with God.
