He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.“ For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; on them he has set the world.

貧乏者流、處於塵埃、居於糞攘、主舉而升之兮、使與民牧、爰居爰處兮、

聽其代友祈禱、則復其舊業、較昔倍蓰。約百兄弟姊妹、與素相識者、俱至、同食於其家、聞耶和華降災、則解其憂、慰其心、各饋金一、環一。嗣後耶和華錫嘏於約百、福祉較昔尤盛、獲羊一萬四千、駝六千、牛一千耦、牝驢一千、

王於是尊崇但以理、加以重賚、封為巴比倫方伯、眾哲士長、

凡我良朋聽之哉、上帝選斯世貧者、欲彼信主以為富、可嗣上帝所許愛己者之國、

我肇基大地之時、汝安在、知則告我。誰為量度、誰為準繩、何地築址基、何人立四隅、

彼愛我、流厥血、滌除我罪、以我為王為祭司、事父上帝、願榮華權力歸之、世世靡暨、

立我為王、為祭司、事上帝而治天下、

撒母耳曰、昔爾自視甚微、耶和華簡爾為支派之長、以膏沐爾、立為以色列族王。

爾可治我家、我民必遵爾命、獨於國君之位、則我為尊。

肇基址於海中、立四維於淵際兮、

今當告我僕大闢、萬有之主耶和華云、昔爾在羊牢牧羊、我特遴選爾、使為我民以色列族長。

立地於四維、永不遷移兮、

爾元始肇基乎地、創造乎天兮、

法老召約瑟、速之出獄、薙髮易衣、以覲法老。

聖使者、巡察者已定命若此、使天下之人、皆知至上者、秉其鈞衡、在乎寰區之內、隨意昇降、以賤為貴、治理民人、

為惡者短其年、困苦者伸其冤、眷顧善人、尊其位、與王同列。

有始而幽囚、後治國家者、有始為君王、後作窮民者。

但以理心甚靈慧、王使之綜理、監督州牧、職居宰輔、統轄全土、

其施厥臂力、於心志驕者、滅之、有權者、黜其位、卑者、舉而上、

如有勝敵者、必賜之與我同坐於位、如我勝敵、與父同坐於位焉、

邑中不夜、不藉日光、毋庸燭照、主上帝自能焜耀之、其僕秉權、永世靡暨、

厥子顯其光華、肖乎其質、以大命載萬物、既舍己贖我罪、後在天坐至大者右、

約百坐於灰、以片瓦搔身。
