勿復出言驕矜、勿容口發狂妄、蓋耶和華為睿智之上帝、人之所行、為彼所衡、

毋自誇詡、毋出妄言、蓋耶和華睿智之上帝、人有所行、無不裁度。

爾曹勿復言驕、或作勿復矜誇狂妄勿出爾口、蓋主為睿智之天主、人之所為、皆主權衡、

“ Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the Lord is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed.

“ Don’t keep talking so proudly. Don’t let your mouth say such proud things. The Lord is a God who knows everything. He judges everything people do.

Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

“ Stop acting so proud and haughty! Don’t speak with such arrogance! For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done; he will judge your actions.

The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.

then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know( for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);

The king spoke and said,“ Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for the royal dwelling place, by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?”While the word was in the king’s mouth, a voice came from the sky, saying,“ O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken:‘ The kingdom has departed from you.

to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”These are murmurers and complainers, walking after their lusts— and their mouth speaks proud things— showing respect of persons to gain advantage.

I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

“ Your words have been stout against me,” says Yahweh.“ Yet you say,‘ What have we spoken against you?’

For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

( let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know my integrity);

They say,“ Yah will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.

The way of the just is uprightness. You who are upright make the path of the righteous level.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yahweh weighs the motives.

If you say,“ Behold, we didn’t know this,” doesn’t he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesn’t he know it? Shall he not render to every man according to his work?

won’t God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.

Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.

TEKEL: you are weighed in the balances, and are found wanting.

Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.

“ I, Yahweh, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”

But Yahweh said to Samuel,“ Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.”

They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.
