大卫答道：“你是靠刀枪剑戟来攻击我，我是靠万军之耶和华的名，就是你所蔑视的以色列军队的上帝来迎战你。

大卫回答那非利士人：“你来攻击我是靠刀、靠矛、靠枪，但我来攻击你是靠万军之耶和华的名；万军之耶和华就是你所辱骂的以色列军队的神。

大卫对那非利士人说：“你是靠着刀剑、长矛和标枪来对付我，而我是靠着你所辱骂的以色列军队的神——万军之耶和华的名来对付你。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅戟；我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所怒罵帶領以色列軍隊的神。

大衛回答那非利士人：“你來攻擊我是靠刀、靠矛、靠槍，但我來攻擊你是靠萬軍之耶和華的名；萬軍之耶和華就是你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神。

大衛對那非利士人說：『你來對我迎戰、是靠着刀矛短槍；我來對你迎戰、是靠着萬軍之永恆主耶和華的名、以色列陣營的上帝、就是你所辱罵的。

大衛對那非利士人說：「你是靠著刀劍、長矛和標槍來對付我，而我是靠著你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神——萬軍之耶和華的名來對付你。

大衛曰、爾來迎我、以劍與槍及戟、我來迎爾、以萬軍耶和華之名、即爾所侮以色列軍旅之上帝、

大闢曰、爾侮以色列族上帝之軍旅、爾來迎我、執利劍、用干戈、我來迎爾、恃萬有之主耶和華。

大衛對非利士人曰、爾來迎我、以刀與槍與干、干或作戟我來迎爾、恃萬有之主之名、爾所侮辱以色列之隊伍、萬有之主即其天主也、

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to Goliath,“ You are coming to fight against me with a sword, a spear and a javelin. But I’m coming against you in the name of the Lord who rules over all. He is the God of the armies of Israel. He’s the one you have dared to fight against.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David replied to the Philistine,“ You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies— the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with a sword, spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Armies, the God of the ranks of Israel— you have defied him.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to thee in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

David said to the Philistine:“ You come against me with a dagger, spear, and sword, but I come against you in the name of Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel’s armies— you have defied Him.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

But David replied to the Philistine,“ You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin. But I am coming against you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel’s armies, whom you have defied!

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin; but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of Armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

With him is only an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people relied on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.

Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.”

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

God is my strong fortress; And He sets the blameless on His way.He makes my feet like deer’s feet, And sets me on my high places.He trains my hands for battle, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

Then the Philistine said,“ I have defied the ranks of Israel this day! Give me a man, so that we may fight together.”

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Whom have you taunted and blasphemed? And against whom have you raised your voice And haughtily raised your eyes? Against the Holy One of Israel!

We will sing for joy over your victory, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord fulfill all your desires.Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand.Some praise their chariots and some their horses, But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.

All nations surrounded me; In the name of the Lord I will certainly fend them off.They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me; In the name of the Lord I will certainly fend them off.

For I will not trust in my bow, Nor will my sword save me.

And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets,who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions,quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

Salvation belongs to the Lord; May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah

But I know your sitting down, Your going out, your coming in, And your raging against Me.

Then David said to the men who were standing by him,“ What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and rids Israel of the disgrace? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he has dared to defy the armies of the living God?”

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.
