大衛對那非利士人說：『你來對我迎戰、是靠着刀矛短槍；我來對你迎戰、是靠着萬軍之永恆主耶和華的名、以色列陣營的上帝、就是你所辱罵的。

大卫对非利士人说：“你来攻击我，是靠着刀枪和铜戟；我来攻击你，是靠着万军之耶和华的名，就是你所怒骂带领以色列军队的神。

大卫对非利士人说：“你来攻击我，是靠着刀枪和铜矛，但我来攻击你，是靠着万军之耶和华的名，就是你所辱骂、带领以色列军队的上帝。

大卫对非利士人说：“你来攻击我，是靠着刀枪和铜矛，但我来攻击你，是靠着万军之耶和华的名，就是你所辱骂、带领以色列军队的神。

大卫答道：“你是靠刀枪剑戟来攻击我，我是靠万军之耶和华的名，就是你所蔑视的以色列军队的上帝来迎战你。

大卫回答那非利士人：“你来攻击我是靠刀、靠矛、靠枪，但我来攻击你是靠万军之耶和华的名；万军之耶和华就是你所辱骂的以色列军队的神。

大卫对那非利士人说：“你是靠着刀剑、长矛和标枪来对付我，而我是靠着你所辱骂的以色列军队的神——万军之耶和华的名来对付你。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅戟；我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所怒罵帶領以色列軍隊的神。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅矛，但我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所辱罵、帶領以色列軍隊的上帝。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅矛，但我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所辱罵、帶領以色列軍隊的神。

大衛答道：「你是靠刀槍劍戟來攻擊我，我是靠萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所蔑視的以色列軍隊的上帝來迎戰你。

大衛回答那非利士人：“你來攻擊我是靠刀、靠矛、靠槍，但我來攻擊你是靠萬軍之耶和華的名；萬軍之耶和華就是你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神。

大衛對那非利士人說：「你是靠著刀劍、長矛和標槍來對付我，而我是靠著你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神——萬軍之耶和華的名來對付你。

大衛曰、爾來迎我、以劍與槍及戟、我來迎爾、以萬軍耶和華之名、即爾所侮以色列軍旅之上帝、

大闢曰、爾侮以色列族上帝之軍旅、爾來迎我、執利劍、用干戈、我來迎爾、恃萬有之主耶和華。

大衛對非利士人曰、爾來迎我、以刀與槍與干、干或作戟我來迎爾、恃萬有之主之名、爾所侮辱以色列之隊伍、萬有之主即其天主也、

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to Goliath,“ You are coming to fight against me with a sword, a spear and a javelin. But I’m coming against you in the name of the Lord who rules over all. He is the God of the armies of Israel. He’s the one you have dared to fight against.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David replied to the Philistine,“ You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies— the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with a sword, spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Armies, the God of the ranks of Israel— you have defied him.

But David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a saber, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to thee in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

David said to the Philistine:“ You come against me with a dagger, spear, and sword, but I come against you in the name of Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel’s armies— you have defied Him.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

But David replied to the Philistine,“ You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin. But I am coming against you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel’s armies, whom you have defied!

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin; but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of Armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

和他同在的、是血肉之手臂；而和我們同在的、乃是永恆主我們的上帝，在幫助我們，打我們的仗。』眾民因猶大王希西家的話就覺得有恃無懼了。

並不是說我們憑着自己能夠以甚麼事為出於自己。我們之所以能夠的、乃是出於上帝；

我們交戰的武器並不是屬肉體的，乃是有屬神之能力的；能夠攻倒堅固的營壘，

我們的助力是在永恆主的名，那造天地的永恆主。倚靠永恆主的好像錫安山、總不搖動。

你僕人不但擊死了獅子，也擊死了熊；這沒受割禮的非利士人向永活的上帝罵陣，也必像這些野獸之一那樣。』

靠着那給我能力的、我總有力量應付萬事。

就是這位上帝、做我鞏固之逃難所的；他使我所行的路安全。使我的腳像母鹿的蹄那麼快，又使我在山丘上站立得穩。他教導我的手怎樣爭戰，使我的膀臂能開銅弓。

那非利士人說：『我今天向以色列人罵陣；你們請派一個人到我這裏來，我們可以戰一戰。』

永恆主是我的磐石、我的營寨，又是解救我的，我的上帝、我的碞石、我避難於他裏面的；他是我的盾牌，是拯救我的角，是我的高壘。

『你辱罵誰，褻瀆誰？你揚起聲來、攻擊誰呢？你高舉眼目、侮慢誰呢？乃是侮慢以色列之聖者呀。

我們要因你賜的得勝而歡呼，要以我們的上帝的名而快樂；願永恆主成就你一切所求的。現在我知道永恆主必使他所膏立的得勝；他必從他的聖天上用他右手得勝的大能應他。有人靠着車，有人靠着馬，但我們卻靠着我們的上帝永恆主的名而剛強

列國圍繞着我；我靠永恆主的名將他們割掉；他們環繞着我，圍困着我；我靠永恆主的名將他們割掉；

因為我倚靠的不是我的弓；我的刀劍並不能使我得勝。

我還要說甚麼呢？要敘說基甸、巴拉、參孫、耶弗他、大衛、和撒母耳、以及眾神言人的事，時間就不夠了。因着信、他們制勝了列國，執行了公義政治，得了所應許的，堵住了獅子的口，撲滅了烈火之威力，躲脫了刀劍的鋒刃，從軟弱中得了能力，在戰爭中顯為勇猛，使外國的隊伍掉頭逃竄。

拯救屬於永恆主；願你的祝福在你人民身上。（細拉）

『你坐下、你出去、你進來、我都知道；你還向我激怒！

大衛問站在他旁邊的人說道：『若有人擊殺了這個非利士人，從以色列人身上除掉了羞辱，可以受到甚麼待遇呢？這沒受割禮的非利士人是誰啊？竟敢向永活的上帝罵陣啊？』

永恆主耶和華的名是堅固的譙樓；義人奔入，便得安穩。
