大卫对非利士人说：“你来攻击我，是靠着刀枪和铜矛，但我来攻击你，是靠着万军之耶和华的名，就是你所辱骂、带领以色列军队的神。

大卫答道：“你是靠刀枪剑戟来攻击我，我是靠万军之耶和华的名，就是你所蔑视的以色列军队的上帝来迎战你。

大卫回答那非利士人：“你来攻击我是靠刀、靠矛、靠枪，但我来攻击你是靠万军之耶和华的名；万军之耶和华就是你所辱骂的以色列军队的神。

大卫对那非利士人说：“你是靠着刀剑、长矛和标枪来对付我，而我是靠着你所辱骂的以色列军队的神——万军之耶和华的名来对付你。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅戟；我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所怒罵帶領以色列軍隊的神。

大衛對非利士人說：「你來攻擊我，是靠着刀槍和銅矛，但我來攻擊你，是靠着萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所辱罵、帶領以色列軍隊的上帝。

大衛答道：「你是靠刀槍劍戟來攻擊我，我是靠萬軍之耶和華的名，就是你所蔑視的以色列軍隊的上帝來迎戰你。

大衛回答那非利士人：“你來攻擊我是靠刀、靠矛、靠槍，但我來攻擊你是靠萬軍之耶和華的名；萬軍之耶和華就是你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神。

大衛對那非利士人說：『你來對我迎戰、是靠着刀矛短槍；我來對你迎戰、是靠着萬軍之永恆主耶和華的名、以色列陣營的上帝、就是你所辱罵的。

大衛對那非利士人說：「你是靠著刀劍、長矛和標槍來對付我，而我是靠著你所辱罵的以色列軍隊的神——萬軍之耶和華的名來對付你。

大衛曰、爾來迎我、以劍與槍及戟、我來迎爾、以萬軍耶和華之名、即爾所侮以色列軍旅之上帝、

大闢曰、爾侮以色列族上帝之軍旅、爾來迎我、執利劍、用干戈、我來迎爾、恃萬有之主耶和華。

大衛對非利士人曰、爾來迎我、以刀與槍與干、干或作戟我來迎爾、恃萬有之主之名、爾所侮辱以色列之隊伍、萬有之主即其天主也、

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to Goliath,“ You are coming to fight against me with a sword, a spear and a javelin. But I’m coming against you in the name of the Lord who rules over all. He is the God of the armies of Israel. He’s the one you have dared to fight against.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David replied to the Philistine,“ You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies— the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

David said to the Philistine,“ You come against me with a sword, spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Armies, the God of the ranks of Israel— you have defied him.

But David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a saber, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to thee in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

David said to the Philistine:“ You come against me with a dagger, spear, and sword, but I come against you in the name of Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel’s armies— you have defied Him.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

But David replied to the Philistine,“ You are coming against me with sword and spear and javelin. But I am coming against you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel’s armies, whom you have defied!

Then David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin; but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of Armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said. (niv)

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. (niv)

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (niv)

Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. (niv)

Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. (niv)

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (niv)

It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. (niv)

Then the Philistine said,“ This day I defy the armies of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight each other.” (niv)

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (niv)

Who is it you have ridiculed and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? Against the Holy One of Israel! (niv)

May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests.Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. (niv)

All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.They surrounded me on every side, but in the name of the Lord I cut them down. (niv)

I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; (niv)

And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets,who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. (niv)

“ But I know where you are and when you come and go and how you rage against me. (niv)

David asked the men standing near him,“ What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?” (niv)

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (niv)
