當日掃羅與民發誓、曰、毋食餱糧、迨夕乃可、犯者見詛、俟我盡報斯仇。因此以色列族不嘗食物、困憊特甚。

Now the Israelites were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying,“ Cursed be anyone who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!” So none of the troops tasted food.

The Israelites became very hungry that day. That’s because Saul had forced the army to make a promise. He had said,“ None of you must eat any food before evening comes. You must not eat until I’ve paid my enemies back for what they did. If you do, may you be under a curse!” So none of the troops ate any food at all.

And the men of Israel had been hard pressed that day, so Saul had laid an oath on the people, saying,“ Cursed be the man who eats food until it is evening and I am avenged on my enemies.” So none of the people had tasted food.

Now the men of Israel were pressed to exhaustion that day, because Saul had placed them under an oath, saying,“ Let a curse fall on anyone who eats before evening— before I have full revenge on my enemies.” So no one ate anything all day,

and the men of Israel were worn out that day, for Saul had placed the troops under an oath:“ The man who eats food before evening, before I have taken vengeance on my enemies is cursed.” So none of the troops tasted any food.

Now the men of Israel were hard pressed on that day, for Saul had put the people under oath, saying,“ Cursed be the man who eats food before evening, and before I have avenged myself on my enemies.” So none of the people tasted food.

And the men of Israel were distressed that day, for Saul had placed the people under oath, saying,“ Cursed is the man who eats any food until evening, before I have taken vengeance on my enemies.” So none of the people tasted food.

我可以证明，他们向神有热心，但不是按着真知识；

不虔敬的人用口败坏邻舍；义人却因知识得救。

“‘有人制造耶和华所憎恶的偶像，或雕刻，或铸造，就是工匠手所做的，在暗中设立，那人必受咒诅！’百姓都要答应说：‘阿们！’“‘轻慢父母的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘挪移邻舍地界的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘使瞎子走差路的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘向寄居的和孤儿寡妇屈枉正直的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘与继母行淫的，必受咒诅！因为掀开他父亲的衣襟。’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘与兽淫合的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘与异母同父，或异父同母的姐妹行淫的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘与岳母行淫的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘暗中杀人的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘受贿赂害死无辜之人的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’“‘不坚守遵行这律法言语的，必受咒诅！’百姓都要说：‘阿们！’”

以色列人在米斯巴曾起誓说：“我们都不将女儿给便雅悯人为妻。”以色列人来到伯特利，坐在神面前直到晚上，放声痛哭，说：“耶和华以色列的神啊，为何以色列中有这样缺了一支派的事呢？”次日清早，百姓起来，在那里筑了一座坛，献燔祭和平安祭。以色列人彼此问说：“以色列各支派中，谁没有同会众上到耶和华面前来呢？”先是以色列人起过大誓说，凡不上米斯巴到耶和华面前来的，必将他治死。

“因为以色列中有军长率领，百姓也甘心牺牲自己，你们应当颂赞耶和华！

及至以色列强盛了，就使迦南人做苦工，没有把他们全然赶出。

这位神，就是那为我伸冤、使众民服在我以下的。

约拿单没有听见他父亲叫百姓起誓，所以伸手中的杖，用杖头蘸在蜂房里，转手送入口内，眼睛就明亮了。百姓中有一人对他说：“你父亲曾叫百姓严严地起誓说，今日吃什么的，必受咒诅；因此百姓就疲乏了。”约拿单说：“我父亲连累你们了。你看，我尝了这一点蜜，眼睛就明亮了。今日百姓若任意吃了从仇敌所夺的物，击杀的非利士人岂不更多吗？”

若有人不爱主，这人可诅可咒。主必要来！

凡从人中当灭的都不可赎，必被治死。”

以色列人向耶和华发愿说：“你若将这民交付我手，我就把他们的城邑尽行毁灭。”

这城和其中所有的都要在耶和华面前毁灭；只有妓女喇合与她家中所有的可以存活，因为她隐藏了我们所打发的使者。至于你们，务要谨慎，不可取那当灭的物，恐怕你们取了那当灭的物就连累以色列的全营，使全营受咒诅。惟有金子、银子，和铜铁的器皿都要归耶和华为圣，必入耶和华的库中。”

耶弗他就向耶和华许愿，说：“你若将亚扪人交在我手中，我从亚扪人那里平平安安回来的时候，无论什么人，先从我家门出来迎接我，就必归你，我也必将他献上为燔祭。”
