敬畏耶和華是智慧的開端；所有遵行這些的都有美好的見識。對耶和華的讚美將存留到永遠。

要知道，我們的神實在是吞噬的烈火。

敬畏耶和華是知識的開端，愚妄人藐視智慧和管教。

願我的心在你的律例中純全，好使我不致蒙羞。

所以弟兄們，我藉著神的各樣憐憫勸你們，要把自己的身體獻上，做為聖潔、蒙神喜悅的活祭；這是你們理所當然的事奉。

耶穌看見拿旦業向他走來，就指著他說：「看，一個真正的以色列人！他裡面沒有詭詐。」
