If you fear the Lord, worship and obey Him, and if you don’t rebel against the Lord’s command, then both you and the king who rules over you will follow the Lord your God.

如爾敬畏主、奉事主、聽主之言、不違主之命、則爾與治爾之王、必蒙主爾天主之引導、

If you fear the Lord and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the Lord your God— good!

But you must have respect for the Lord. You must serve him and obey him. You must not say no to his commands. Both you and the king who rules over you must obey the Lord your God. If you do, that’s good.

If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well.

“ Now if you fear and worship the Lord and listen to his voice, and if you do not rebel against the Lord’s commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize the Lord as your God.

If you fear the LORD, serving him and obeying him and not rebelling against what he says, and if both you and the king who rules over you follow the LORD your God, all will be well.

If you will fear Yahweh, and serve him, and listen to his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of Yahweh, then both you and also the king who reigns over you are followers of Yahweh your God.

“ Therefore, fear the Lord and worship Him in sincerity and truth. Get rid of the gods your fathers worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and worship Yahweh.

“ Now if you faithfully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow all His commands I am giving you today, the Lord your God will put you far above all the nations of the earth.All these blessings will come and overtake you, because you obey the Lord your God:You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.Your descendants will be blessed, and your land’s produce, and the offspring of your livestock, including the young of your herds and the newborn of your flocks.Your basket and kneading bowl will be blessed.You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.“ The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you from one direction but flee from you in seven directions.The Lord will grant you a blessing on your storehouses and on everything you do; He will bless you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.The Lord will establish you as His holy people, as He swore to you, if you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will stand in awe of you.The Lord will make you prosper abundantly with children, the offspring of your livestock, and your land’s produce in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.The Lord will open for you His abundant storehouse, the sky, to give your land rain in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow.The Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward if you listen to the Lord your God’s commands I am giving you today and are careful to follow them.Do not turn aside to the right or the left from all the things I am commanding you today, and do not go after other gods to worship them.

If you abandon the Lord and worship foreign gods, He will turn against you, harm you, and completely destroy you, after He has been good to you.”

The Lord spoke to Moses:“ Say to the Israelites: Any Israelite or foreigner living in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech must be put to death; the people of the country are to stone him.I will turn against that man and cut him off from his people, because he gave his offspring to Molech, defiling My sanctuary and profaning My holy name.But if the people of the country look the other way when that man gives any of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death,then I will turn against that man and his family, and cut off from their people both him and all who follow him in prostituting themselves with Molech.“ Whoever turns to mediums or spiritists and prostitutes himself with them, I will turn against that person and cut him off from his people.Consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am Yahweh your God.Keep My statutes and do them; I am Yahweh who sets you apart.“ If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death. He has cursed his father or mother; his blood is on his own hands.If a man commits adultery with a married woman— if he commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife— both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.If a man sleeps with his father’s wife, he has shamed his father. Both of them must be put to death; their blood is on their own hands.If a man sleeps with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. They have acted perversely; their blood is on their own hands.If a man sleeps with a man as with a woman, they have both committed a detestable thing. They must be put to death; their blood is on their own hands.

eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them, for they will eat the fruit of their labor.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own plans.If only My people would listen to Me and Israel would follow My ways,I would quickly subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their foes.”Those who hate the Lord would pretend submission to Him; their doom would last forever.
