If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well.

如爾敬畏主、奉事主、聽主之言、不違主之命、則爾與治爾之王、必蒙主爾天主之引導、

If you fear the Lord and serve and obey him and do not rebel against his commands, and if both you and the king who reigns over you follow the Lord your God— good!

But you must have respect for the Lord. You must serve him and obey him. You must not say no to his commands. Both you and the king who rules over you must obey the Lord your God. If you do, that’s good.

“ Now if you fear and worship the Lord and listen to his voice, and if you do not rebel against the Lord’s commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize the Lord as your God.

They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.The Lord will establish you as a people holy to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways.And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground, within the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them,and if you do not turn aside from any of the words that I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

If you forsake the Lord and serve foreign gods, then he will turn and do you harm and consume you, after having done you good.”

The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name.And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death,then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech.“ If a person turns to mediums and necromancers, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.Keep my statutes and do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you.For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood is upon him.“ If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.If a man lies with his father’s wife, he has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have committed perversion; their blood is upon them.If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.

to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes.Those who hate the Lord would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever.
