For if the mighty works had been done in Sodom which were done in you, it would have remained until today.But I tell you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom, on the day of judgment, than for you.”

For if they do these things in the green tree, what will be done in the dry?”

Don’t think to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.“ Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

“ I have only chosen you of all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins.”

You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
