蓋審判之時機已熟；其以天主聖宅為開端、宜也。然既以吾人為開端、則一般未順天主福音之人、其結局又將如何！

於烈燄中行施報應。凡不識天主、不願服膺吾主耶穌基督之福音者、

又曰：『此為躓石、觸之必蹶。』若輩不順天主之道、宜其蹶也、亦定命耳。

患難困苦加於作惡之人、始自猶太、推及希臘。

僕若明知主人之意、而猶不朝乾夕惕、奉行厥旨、則受撻必多；其不知而行當罰之罪者、受撻猶少。誠以賦之厚、則望之深、託之重、則責之嚴也。

耶穌在諸邑廣行聖跡、而居民終不悔悟；因斥之曰：『哀哉哥拉潯！哀哉伯撒達！假令爾中所行神蹟、行之於諦羅西同、早已披麻蒙灰、而憣然悔改矣。第吾語爾、審判之日、諦羅西同之所受、較爾猶易堪也。葛法農乎、爾欲蒙陟而登青雲乎？爾必被降而入冥獄也。蓋設令爾中所行神蹟、行於瑣同、則彼邑至今應猶依然無恙耳。第吾語爾、審判之日、瑣同之所受、較爾猶易堪也。』

蓋青木尚遭此厄、枯木又將如何？』

有為新約仲介之耶穌焉、有耶穌所灑之寶血焉；此血也、其所發之言、非復亞伯之血所得同日而語矣。爾其慎旃、切勿輕忽其所發之言也。夫古人之不聽從地上施教之人者、尚不能免責矧於自天所訓而不聽從者、其能僥倖於萬一乎？

予實語爾、他日、索多瑪之刑較斯邑猶易受也。哀哉哥絡潯！哀哉珀璾達！假令爾中所顯靈異、顯於諦羅西同、則早已披麻坐灰、幡然悔悟矣。故審判時、諦羅西同之刑較爾猶易受也。

毋思吾輩有亞伯漢為我祖先；蓋吾語爾、天主全能、即欲化此頑石為亞伯漢之子孫、亦易如反掌耳。方今斧斤已加於樹根、凡不結嘉實之樹、必伐而投諸火中。

曩者爾等兢兢業業、力行聖道、載欣載奔；今乃半途而廢、果受誰氏之阻礙乎？

夫以天神所傳之誡命尚且一成不變、有犯必懲；

迨其純全無缺、乃成永救之源、俾凡歸順之者、咸得被澤而獲濟焉。

且天主更按聖意、疊用異兆靈異、廣施聖蹟、及聖神之妙果、為之證明；不亦信而有徵乎？

亞伯漢亦憑信德、心從天主之命、不惜離鄉背井、以覓承許為嗣業之地。方其就道、固茫然不知己之奚適也。

噫、昏昧無知之加拉太人乎！曩者曾將十字架上之耶穌基督、昭然呈爾目前；今復受誰氏之蠱惑、以至於此耶？
