Then He proceeded to denounce the towns where most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent:“ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes long ago!But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until today.But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”

For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

to Jesus( mediator of a new covenant), and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.Make sure that you do not reject the One who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected Him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.

For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes!But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.

And don’t presume to say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones!Even now the ax is ready to strike the root of the trees! Therefore, every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

I have known only you out of all the clans of the earth; therefore, I will punish you for all your iniquities.

You were running well. Who prevented you from obeying the truth?

For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,

They do not fear Me,” says the Lord of Hosts.

But when the Lord finishes all His work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, He will say,“ I will punish the king of Assyria for his arrogant acts and the proud look in his eyes.”

By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was going to receive as an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he was going.

You foolish Galatians! Who has hypnotized you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed as crucified?

“ For this is what the Lord says: If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, can you possibly remain unpunished? You will not remain unpunished, for you must drink it too.
