因为基督并非进入了人手所造的圣所，那只是真圣所的缩影，祂是进入了天堂，替我们来到上帝面前。

定睛仰望为我们的信心创始成终的耶稣。祂为了摆在前面的喜乐，就轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的痛苦，如今已坐在上帝宝座的右边。

上帝曾用这大能使基督从死里复活，使基督在天上坐在自己右边，远远超越今生永世所有执政的、掌权的、有能力的、做主宰的和一切的权势。

我们所讲的要点是：我们有这样一位大祭司，祂现在已经坐在天上至高上帝的宝座右边，

主耶稣说完这些话，就被接回天上，坐在上帝的右边。

因为我深信无论是死、是生，是天使、是鬼魔，是现在的事、是将来的事，

你们既然和基督一同复活了，就应当追求天上的事，那里有坐在上帝右边的基督。

谁能定他们有罪呢？基督耶稣已经替他们死了，而且祂还从死里复活了，如今在上帝的右边替我们祈祷。

耶稣照麦基洗德的模式成了永远的大祭司，祂替我们先进入了圣幕内。

而基督一次献上自己成为永远的赎罪祭后，就坐在上帝的右边，

大卫并没有升到天上，但他曾说，“‘主对我主说，你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌成为你的脚凳。’“所以，全体以色列人啊！你们应当确实地知道，上帝已经立这位被你们钉在十字架上的耶稣为主，为基督了。”

说：“加利利人啊！你们为什么站在这里望着天空呢？这位离开你们被接到天上的耶稣，你们看见祂怎样升天，将来祂还要怎样回来。”

最后末日来临，那时基督会废除一切执政的、掌权的、有能力的，将国度交给父上帝。

“‘主对我主说，你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌伏在你脚下。’

祂正是上帝荣耀的光辉，是上帝本体的真像。祂用自己充满能力的话语维系万物。祂洗净了世人的罪之后，便坐在天上至高上帝的右边。

大卫自己曾经受圣灵的感动，说，“‘主对我主说，你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌伏在你脚下。’

上帝从未对任何一个天使说：“你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌成为你的脚凳。”

基督必须留在天上，直到万物更新的时候，这是上帝自古以来借圣先知的口说的。

大卫曾在诗篇里说，“‘主对我主说，你坐在我的右边，

耶和华对我主说：“你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌成为你的脚凳。”
