要为信仰打那美好的仗，要抓住永恒的生命。你正是为此蒙召的，并且在许多见证人面前做了美好的告白。

亚伯拉罕认为，神真的能使人从死人中复活。故此，用比喻来说，他真的从死人中得回了以撒。

当他们沿路前行的时候，来到一个有水的地方。太监说：“看哪，有水！有什么能阻止我受洗呢？”

所以各位蒙爱的人哪，我们既然拥有这些应许，就让我们洁净自己，除去肉体和灵魂的一切污秽，怀着敬畏神的心来达成圣洁。

我们所夸耀的是这一点：我们的良心见证了我们在世上行事为人带着属神的忠实和真诚，不是靠属肉体的智慧，而是靠神的恩典；对你们更是如此。
