You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor.

主乃活石，固然是被人所弃的，却是被神所拣选、所宝贵的。

你們上去找他，找那活的石頭、被人所棄掉、而在上帝看是蒙揀選而寶貴的。

你們來到那活石面前——他雖然被人棄絕，卻是神所揀選、所珍貴的——

主乃活石、為人所棄、而上帝則選而寶之、

主乃靈石、為人所棄、上帝器重、而推選者、爾曹就之、

主如活石、為人所棄、為天主所選所寶者、爾曹就之、

自宜欣然就之。渠乃具有生命之磐石、世人之所擯棄、而天主之所器重也。

As you come to him, the living Stone— rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—

Christ is the living Stone. People did not accept him, but God chose him. God places the highest value on him.

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,

As you come to him, a living stone— rejected by people but chosen and honored by God—

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by people, but is choice and precious in the sight of God,

Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,

unto whom coming, a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but with God elect, precious,

Coming to Him, a living stone— rejected by men but chosen and valuable to God—

To whom coming,[ as unto] a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God,[ and] precious,

So as you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but chosen and priceless in God’s sight,

coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious.

The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.

For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says,‘ The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

Yes, you who trust him recognize the honor God has given him. But for those who reject him,“ The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.”

Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken.

Now look at the jewel I have set before Jeshua, a single stone with seven facets. I will engrave an inscription on it, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and I will remove the sins of this land in a single day.

Jesus told her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”

And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

As you watched, a rock was cut from a mountain, but not by human hands. It struck the feet of iron and clay, smashing them to bits.

This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior.

It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

Nothing, not even a mighty mountain, will stand in Zerubbabel’s way; it will become a level plain before him! And when Zerubbabel sets the final stone of the Temple in place, the people will shout:‘ May God bless it! May God bless it!’”

Didn’t you ever read this in the Scriptures?‘ The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.’”

Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.

That is the meaning of the rock cut from the mountain, though not by human hands, that crushed to pieces the statue of iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold. The great God was showing the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its meaning is certain.”

Jesus looked at them and said,“ Then what does this Scripture mean?‘ The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’Everyone who stumbles over that stone will be broken to pieces, and it will crush anyone it falls on.”

For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son.

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.

“ My wayward children,” says the Lord,“ come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.”“ Yes, we’re coming,” the people reply,“ for you are the Lord our God.

He will keep you safe. But to Israel and Judah he will be a stone that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.Many will stumble and fall, never to rise again. They will be snared and captured.”

Then Jesus said,“ Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life giving power to his Son.

However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.

“ Look at my Servant, whom I have chosen. He is my Beloved, who pleases me. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

“ Look at my servant, whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, who pleases me. I have put my Spirit upon him. He will bring justice to the nations.

Then Jesus asked them,“ Didn’t you ever read this in the Scriptures?‘ The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.’

Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live.

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold— though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

“ Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.
