耶穌又謂諸徒曰：『曩日與爾同處、予曾明言、摩西律先知書與聖詠中所載予事、悉當應驗。』

耶穌謂之曰：『愚人哉！何爾心之冥頑、而不信歷來先知之所言乎？基督不當先受苦難、而躋於光榮乎？』於是始自摩西以至歷代先知、凡經中之有關於己者、悉為詳釋。

此言皆意灑雅有見乎耶穌之榮而發也。

人子長逝、正符經言；第鬻之者、哀莫大焉！斯人之有生、不如無生之為愈也。』
