But Solomon did not make slaves of any of the Israelites; they were his fighting men, his government officials, his officers, his captains, and the commanders of his chariots and charioteers.

所羅門為王、治以色列族眾。所屬群臣臚列於左、撒督子亞薩哩亞為牧伯。示沙二子、以利何烈亞希亞職繕寫。亞希律子約沙法為史官。耶何耶大子庇拿雅為軍長。撒督、亞庇亞塔為祭司。拿單子亞薩哩亞為眾吏之長。拿單子撒不為牧伯、及王之友。亞希煞掌宮闈。押大子亞多尼蘭理貢物。又於以色列遍地立吏十二、月委其一、為王及眷聚採備食物。其名臚陳於左、戶耳子徵以法蓮山。底甲子徵馬迦斯、沙押賓、伯示麥、以倫伯哈南、希泄子徵亞魯泊、瑣哥、希弗四境。亞庇拿塔子徵多耳四境、彼尚大法公主。亞希律子把拿徵大納、米吉多、伯善四境、附撒大拿、近耶斯烈山麓、延亞伯米何拉及約念外。其別子徵基列之喇末、及馬拿西子睚耳眾邑、亞咯地之巴山境、有墻垣銅楗之大邑六十。易多子亞希拿達徵馬哈念。亞希馬斯徵納大利、彼尚巴實抹公主。戶篩子巴拿徵亞設及亞祿。巴路亞子約沙法徵以薩迦。以拉子示每徵便雅憫、烏利子其別徵基列地、即亞摩哩王西宏、巴山王噩之地、獨任其事。猶大以色列二族、眾如海濱之沙、不可勝數、皆飲食歡樂。所羅門轄眾國、自大河至非利士人地、及埃及境、皆進貢服役、以至於王之畢生。所羅門宮中食物、日供細麵一千八百斗、麥粉三千六百斗、肥牛十、在野之牛二十、羊一百、又有鹿麀、赤鹿、及肥禽。自大河之西、亦自的薩延及亞薩列王皆為所羅門所轄、四方平康。所羅門在位時、猶大以色列二族、自但及別是巴、各安其居、得蔭於葡萄及無花果樹下。所羅門之廄有服車之馬四萬、騎兵一萬二千、十二吏、各按月期、為所羅門王、及諸食客、採備食物、無所缺乏。
