凡所羅門所徵調之夫役、非以色列人、乃亞摩利人赫人比利洗人希未人耶布斯人之苗裔、即昔以色列人未能盡滅而留於國者、至於今日、猶為夫役、

There were still people left from the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites( these peoples were not Israelites).

There were still many people left in the land who weren’t Israelites. They included Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

All the people who were left of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the people of Israel—

There were still some people living in the land who were not Israelites, including Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.

As for all the peoples who remained of the Amorites, Hethites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, who were not Israelites—

As for all the people who were left of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the sons of Israel,

「你們的上帝耶和華帶領你們進入將要佔領的土地時，會為你們趕走赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人這七個比你們強大的民族。當你們的上帝耶和華把他們交在你們手裡、使你們打敗他們後，你們必須徹底毀滅他們。不可與他們立約，不可憐憫他們。不可與他們通婚，不可讓你們的兒女與他們的兒女通婚，

我要派黃蜂做你的先鋒，趕走那些希未人、迦南人和赫人。我不會在一年之內把這些人全部趕走，免得土地荒涼，野獸肆虐。我會逐漸地趕走他們，直到你們人丁興旺，可以佔據那片土地。我給你定下國界，從紅海到非利士海岸，從曠野到幼發拉底河。我要把其中所有的人都交在你手中，你要把他們全部趕出去。不可跟這些民族及其神明立約，也不可讓這些民族住在你的土地上，免得他們使你得罪我，你若供奉他們的神明，必因此而陷入網羅。」

當時國中有赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人的後裔，以色列人沒有滅絕他們。所羅門讓他們服勞役，至今如此。所羅門王沒有讓以色列人服勞役，而是讓他們做戰士、將領、戰車長和騎兵長。他還任命二百五十名監工負責監管工人。所羅門帶法老的女兒離開大衛城，來到為她建造的宮中，因為所羅門說：「我的妻子不可住在以色列王大衛的宮裡，因為約櫃所到之處都是聖潔的。」所羅門在門廊前他所築的耶和華的壇上向耶和華獻燔祭，並照摩西的規定，在安息日、朔日和每年特定的三個節期，即除酵節、七七節和住棚節獻上當獻的祭。所羅門照著他父親大衛的吩咐，指派祭司分班供職，讓利未人負責頌讚、輔助祭司盡每天的職責，還指派殿門守衛分班守門。這些都是上帝的僕人大衛規定的。他們沒有違背大衛王就庫房等工作對祭司和利未人的吩咐。從耶和華的殿奠基直到完工，所羅門所有的計劃都已順利完成。這樣，耶和華的殿落成了。之後，所羅門前往以東地區靠海的以旬·迦別和以祿。希蘭派懂得航海的僕人乘船隻與所羅門的僕人一同到俄斐，從那裡為所羅門王運回十五噸黃金。

你要遵行我今天的吩咐。我必從你面前驅逐亞摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人。你要謹慎，到了目的地後，不可與當地的居民立約，免得因此而陷入網羅。

就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人和耶布斯人的土地。」

我的天使要走在你前面，帶領你去亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、迦南人、希未人和耶布斯人所住的地方，我會把他們全部消滅。
