我為爾祈禱、斷乎不息、不然、則獲罪於主、我又以善道正道教爾、

以利亞為人與我儕同情、彼切求不雨、則不雨於地、歷三年有六月、後又祈禱、則天降雨、地遂產物、○

將有多國之民往之、彼此語曰、我儕不如登主之山、赴雅各天主之殿、望彼以其道教導我、使我履其途、蓋律法必自郇而出、主之言必從耶路撒冷而發、

求主將主典章之道教誨我、我必終身遵守、

亭午、以利亞戲之曰、可大聲而呼、彼實乃神、或凝思默想、或深入密室、或行路、抑或寢臥、爾必必或作當使之醒、遂大聲呼籲、循其常例、以刀槍自割自刺、致身流血、自午後至獻晚祭時、切求靈顯、切求靈顯或作偽為感神而言亦無聲響、無應者、無顧者、以利亞謂民眾曰、爾來就我、民咸就之、在彼有主之祭臺已毀、以利亞乃重修焉、以利亞取石十二、循雅各後裔十二支派之數、昔主謂雅各曰、爾名可稱為以色列、以利亞以此石為為或作託主之名建祭臺、祭臺之四周、掘溝環繞、可容穀種二細亞、約六斗列柴於祭臺、剖犢為塊、置於柴上、謂民曰、以水盈四甕、傾於祭肉與柴上、又曰、如是者二、則行之二次、又曰如是者三、則行之三次、水流於祭臺之四周、亦盈其溝、至獻晚祭時、先知以利亞進前曰、求主亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之天主、今日使人知主在以色列人中為天主、亦知我乃主之僕、我作此諸事、悉遵主命、求主聽我、聽我、或作求主應允我應允我使斯民咸知主乃天主、亦知主使其心翻然悔改、有火自主前而降、燬火焚祭與柴與石與塵、並使溝中之水盡涸、民眾見此、則俯伏曰、主誠天主矣、主誠天主矣、以利亞謂之曰、爾曹可執巴力之諸先知、勿使一人逃遁、遂執之、以利亞攜至基順溪、盡殺之、

凡敬畏主者、主必示之以當擇之道、

求主因我之仇敵以仁慈引導我、使我能前進行主之直道、

求主將主之道指示我、使我遵行主之真理、使我一心敬畏主名、

我將教訓爾指示爾當行之道途、我勸戒爾、我目亦顧視爾、

主至善至正、因此指引罪人歸於正道、

在彼有通衢大路、稱為聖途、不潔者不能經歷、路為主之民而修備、行路者雖拙、亦不致失迷、

我倚賴主、求主使我清晨得聽主之恩言、我心中仰望主、求主指示我以當行之路、

遂遣其徒、同希律黨、就之曰、師、我儕知爾乃真者、以真傳天主道、爾不顧人議、蓋爾不以貌取人、

願主爾之天主、示我當行之途、當為之事、

如民獲罪於主、致天閉塞不雨、而在此處祈禱、主罰之之後、遂認主之名、悔改罪惡、求主在天垂聽、赦免主之僕、即主之民以色列之罪、以當行之善道示之、使雨降於主之地、即主所賜主之民為業之地、

爾或往左、或往右、耳中必聞爾後有聲曰、此乃正道、爾當行之、

天主歟、主曾降甘雨、滋潤主之地、其疲乏時、主使之復蘇、
