至于我，断不停止为你们祷告，以致得罪耶和华。我必以善道正路指教你们。

耶和华啊，求你将你的道指教我，因我仇敌的缘故引导我走平坦的路。

耶和华如此说：“你们当站在路上察看，访问古道，哪是善道，便行在其间；这样，你们心里必得安息。他们却说：‘我们不行在其间。’

过了许久，到第三年，耶和华的话临到以利亚说：“你去，使亚哈得见你；我要降雨在地上。”

耶和华啊，求你将你的道指示我，将你的路教训我！求你以你的真理引导我，教训我，因为你是救我的神。我终日等候你。

外邦人虚无的神中有能降雨的吗？天能自降甘霖吗？耶和华我们的神啊，能如此的不是你吗？所以，我们仍要等候你，因为这一切都是你所造的。

霎时间，天因风云黑暗，降下大雨。亚哈就坐车往耶斯列去了。

耶和华啊，你所管教、用律法所教训的人是有福的！

以利亚与我们是一样性情的人，他恳切祷告，求不要下雨，雨就三年零六个月不下在地上。他又祷告，天就降下雨来，地也生出土产。

必有许多国的民前往，说：“来吧，我们登耶和华的山，奔雅各神的殿。主必将他的道教训我们；我们也要行他的路。因为训诲必出于锡安；耶和华的言语必出于耶路撒冷。”

耶和华啊，求你将你的律例指教我，我必遵守到底！

到了正午，以利亚嬉笑他们，说：“大声求告吧！因为他是神，他或默想，或走到一边，或行路，或睡觉，你们当叫醒他。”他们大声求告，按着他们的规矩，用刀枪自割、自刺，直到身体流血。从午后直到献晚祭的时候，他们狂呼乱叫，却没有声音，没有应允的，也没有理会的。以利亚对众民说：“你们到我这里来。”众民就到他那里。他便重修已经毁坏耶和华的坛。以利亚照雅各子孙支派的数目，取了十二块石头（耶和华的话曾临到雅各说：“你的名要叫以色列”），用这些石头为耶和华的名筑一座坛，在坛的四围挖沟，可容谷种二细亚，又在坛上摆好了柴，把牛犊切成块子放在柴上，对众人说：“你们用四个桶盛满水，倒在燔祭和柴上”；又说：“倒第二次。”他们就倒第二次；又说：“倒第三次。”他们就倒第三次。水流在坛的四围，沟里也满了水。到了献晚祭的时候，先知以利亚近前来，说：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神，耶和华啊，求你今日使人知道你是以色列的神，也知道我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命行这一切事。耶和华啊，求你应允我，应允我！使这民知道你耶和华是神，又知道是你叫这民的心回转。”于是，耶和华降下火来，烧尽燔祭、木柴、石头、尘土，又烧干沟里的水。众民看见了，就俯伏在地，说：“耶和华是神！耶和华是神！”以利亚对他们说：“拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脱！”众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

谁敬畏耶和华，耶和华必指示他当选择的道路。

耶和华啊，求你因我的仇敌，凭你的公义引领我，使你的道路在我面前正直。

耶和华啊，求你将你的道指教我；我要照你的真理行；求你使我专心敬畏你的名！

我要教导你，指示你当行的路；我要定睛在你身上劝戒你。

耶和华是良善正直的，所以他必指示罪人走正路。

在那里必有一条大道，称为圣路。污秽人不得经过，必专为赎民行走；行路的人虽愚昧，也不致失迷。

求你使我清晨得听你慈爱之言，因我倚靠你；求你使我知道当行的路，因我的心仰望你。

就打发他们的门徒同希律党的人去见耶稣，说：“夫子，我们知道你是诚实人，并且诚诚实实传神的道，什么人你都不徇情面，因为你不看人的外貌。

愿耶和华你的神指示我们所当走的路，所当做的事。”

“你的民因得罪你，你惩罚他们，使天闭塞不下雨，他们若向此处祷告，承认你的名，离开他们的罪，求你在天上垂听，赦免你仆人和你民以色列的罪，将当行的善道指教他们，且降雨在你的地，就是你赐给你民为业之地。

你或向左或向右，你必听见后边有声音说：“这是正路，要行在其间。”

神啊，你降下大雨；你产业以色列疲乏的时候，你使他坚固。
