如人獲罪於爾、使天閉塞、雨澤不降、至殿祈禱、呼籲爾名、緣遘患難、去厥罪愆、

如民獲罪於主、致天閉塞不雨、而在此處祈禱、認主之名、主罰之之後、悛悔罪惡、

“ When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and give praise to your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them,

“ Suppose your people have sinned against you. And because of that, the sky is closed up and there isn’t any rain. But your people pray toward this place. They praise you by admitting they’ve sinned. And they turn away from their sin because you have made them suffer.

“ When heaven is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and acknowledge your name and turn from their sin, when you afflict them,

“ If the skies are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and if they pray toward this Temple and acknowledge your name and turn from their sins because you have punished them,

爾民以色列因獲罪爾、敗於敵前、若轉歸爾、而認爾名、在此室禱告祈求於爾、

致耶和華震怒擊爾、使天閉塞不雨、物產不生、爾則於耶和華所賜之美地、必速滅亡、

爾恃強之驕傲、我必毀之、並使爾天若鐵、爾地若銅、

迦得遂詣大衛曰、或饑饉臨於爾土七年、或為敵追襲遁逃三月、或疫癘流行爾國三日、爾其思之、俾我覆遣我者、

我誠語汝、當以利亞時、天閉塞三年有六月、徧地大饑、以色列中多嫠、

彼有權閉天、使於其預言之日不雨、亦有權治諸水、變之為血、且隨其所欲、以各災擊地、

故主耶和華曰、以色列家歟、我必依各人所行而鞫之、爾其回轉、離棄諸罪、免愆尤之窒礙、以色列家歟、當棄所犯之罪、新爾心神、奚自取死、主耶和華曰、人之死亡、我所不悅、故當回轉、而得生存、

亦俾異邦因其矜恤而榮之、經云、緣此、我將於異邦中稱頌爾、謳歌爾名、

旅於基列之提斯比人以利亞、告亞哈曰、我指所事維生之耶和華、以色列之上帝而誓、此數年間、非我有言、則雨露不降、

願爾之目、晝夜垂顧此室、即爾所言寄名之所、俯聽爾僕向此所祈、爾僕與爾民以色列、向此祈禱時、求爾在天爾之居所垂聽、而加赦宥、

爾舉手、我則掩目、爾多禱、我不俯聽、爾手盈以血也、爾其洗滌自潔、去爾惡行於我目前、

祭司歟、爾其束麻而哀哭、奉事於壇者歟、爾其號咷、供役於我上帝者歟、其來衣麻、終夜而臥、蓋素祭灌祭、不得入爾上帝室也、當定禁食之日、宣告肅會、召集長老、及居斯土之眾、入爾上帝耶和華室、呼籲耶和華、哀哉其日、耶和華之日伊邇、必如殲滅自全能者而來、糈糧豈非絕於我目前乎、欣喜歡樂、豈非絕於我上帝室乎、穀種枯於鋤下、倉虛廩毀、禾稼憔悴、牲畜哀鳴、牛羣以無草而散亂、羊羣亦皆困苦、耶和華歟、我呼籲爾、火燬野間之草場、燄焚田間之諸木、野獸向爾而喘、蓋溪流涸竭、野間草場、為火所燬也、

斯民仍未轉向擊之者、不尋求萬軍之耶和華、

以色列歟、爾因罪而顚覆、當歸爾之上帝耶和華、

人子歟、如國干咎、獲罪於我、我則伸手其上、絕其所恃之糧、降以饑饉、絕其人畜、

覆爾之天如銅、載爾之地如鐵、耶和華必以塵沙為雨、自天降於爾土、俾爾滅亡、

若爾以口認耶穌為主、心信上帝自死起之、則得救、

耶和華必為爾啟其寶藏、使天降時雨於爾土、於爾凡百所為、錫嘏於爾、爾貸金於列邦、而不告貸於彼、

民獲罪爾、致天閉塞不雨、遭爾罰時、若向此祈禱、而認爾名、改悔厥罪、

耶和華論旱乾、所諭耶利米之言、○曰、猶大悲哀、邑門衰敗、眾衣墨絰、而坐於地、耶路撒冷號咷、升聞於上、貴胄遣役取水、至井見其無水、乃攜空器而返、含羞抱愧、而蒙其首、地不得雨、土壤燥裂、耕者含羞、而蒙其首、麀鹿產子於野、因無草而遺之、野驢立於童山、喘若野犬、因無芻而目昏、○耶和華歟、我之愆尤雖證我惡、願爾緣爾名而施行、我屢悖逆、干罪於爾、

萬軍之耶和華曰、其輸什一、悉歸府庫、俾我室中有糧、以此試我、是否為爾啟天之牖、傾福於爾、無地可容、

如爾民以色列、因獲罪爾、敗於敵前、回轉而認爾名、在此室禱告祈求於爾、

吹角於錫安、定禁食之日、宣告肅會、聚集庶民、區別聖會、聚老集幼、以及哺乳之嬰、使新娶者出其室、新婦離其閨、供役於耶和華之祭司、其哭於廊與壇之間、曰、耶和華歟、矜恤爾民、勿使爾業受辱、為列邦所轄、奚使諸國之人曰、彼之上帝安在乎、○
