律書載耶和華命摩西云、於七月節、以色列族當居於廬。於是布告耶路撒冷、及諸邑中曰、爾往於山、取橄欖油木、岡拈、棗樹、喬木之枝幹、以搆斯廬、循其常例。民遂往、取枝作廬、在屋巔、院內、上帝殿院、或在水門衢、或在以法蓮門衢。被虜而歸之眾、咸搆廬、坐其中、喜樂無量、自嫩之子約書亞時、迄於今日、以色列族守搆廬節、未有若是之樂、守節七日、越八日有大會、俱循常例、自始至終、以士喇日誦上帝律例之書。
