但卻是所羅門為神造成殿宇。

你們作為活石，要被建造成屬靈的殿，成為聖潔的祭司，藉着耶穌基督獻上蒙神悅納的屬靈祭物。

所羅門在位第四年西弗月，立了耶和華殿的根基。

對他說，萬軍之耶和華如此說：『看哪，那名稱為大衛苗裔的，要在本處生長，並要建造耶和華的殿。就是他，要建造耶和華的殿，他要承受尊榮，坐在位上掌王權；又有一位祭司坐在自己的位上，兩職之間籌劃和平。

耶穌回答他們說：「你們拆毀這殿，我三日內要把它重建。」猶太人說：「這殿造了四十六年，你三日內就能重建嗎？」但耶穌所說的殿是指他的身體。

因為他等候着那座有根基的城，就是神所設計和建造的。

又求你賜我兒子所羅門全心遵守你的命令、法度、律例，成就這一切的事，用我所預備的建造殿宇。」

你們豈不知道你們的身體是聖靈的殿嗎？這聖靈是從神而來，住在你們裏面的。而且你們不是屬自己的人，

以色列人出埃及地後第二年二月初一，耶和華在西奈曠野，在會幕中吩咐摩西說：

以色列人住希實本和所屬的鄉鎮，亞羅珥和所屬的鄉鎮，以及沿着亞嫩河的一切城鎮，已經有三百年了。在這期間，你們為甚麼不取回呢？

被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，而基督耶穌自己為房角石，靠着他整座房子連接得緊湊，漸漸成為在主裏的聖殿。你們也靠他同被建造，成為神藉着聖靈居住的所在。

遠方的人要來建造耶和華的殿，你們因此就知道，萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裏來。你們若留意聽從耶和華－你們神的話，這事必然成就。

照着你們所領受的教導，在他裏面生根建造，信心堅固，充滿着感謝的心。

但現在基督已經來到，作了已實現的美事的大祭司，經過那更大更全備的帳幕，不是人手所造，也不是屬於這世界的；

神的殿和偶像有甚麼相同？因為我們是永生神的殿，就如神曾說：「我要在他們中間居住來往；我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。」
