所羅門說：“你僕人我父親大衛以誠實、公義和正直的心在你面前行事為人，你就以極大的慈愛待他；你又為他存留這極大的慈愛，賜給他一個兒子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一樣。

所罗门说：“你仆人我父亲大卫用诚实、公义、正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又为他存留大恩，赐他一个儿子坐在他的位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你曾向你仆人我父亲大卫大施慈爱，因为他用忠信、公义、正直的心行在你面前。你又为他存留大慈爱，赐他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你曾向你仆人我父亲大卫大施慈爱，因为他用忠信、公义、正直的心行在你面前。你又为他存留大慈爱，赐他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所罗门说：“你的仆人——我父大卫本着诚实、公义、正直的心在你面前行事，你就向他大施恩慈，并且一如既往地以厚恩待他，让他儿子今天继承他的王位。

所罗门说：“你仆人我父亲大卫以诚实、公义和正直的心在你面前行事为人，你就以极大的慈爱待他；你又为他存留这极大的慈爱，赐给他一个儿子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一样。

所羅門說：「你僕人－我父親大衛用誠實、公義、正直的心行在你面前，你就向他大施恩典，又為他存留大恩，賜他一個兒子坐在他的位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：「你曾向你僕人我父親大衛大施慈愛，因為他用忠信、公義、正直的心行在你面前。你又為他存留大慈愛，賜他一個兒子坐在他的王位上，正如今日一樣。

所羅門說：「你的僕人——我父大衛本著誠實、公義、正直的心在你面前行事，你就向他大施恩慈，並且一如既往地以厚恩待他，讓他兒子今天繼承他的王位。

所羅門說：『你僕人我父親大衛怎樣以忠信、公義、正直的心、與你同在、行於你面前，你就怎樣向他施大而堅固的愛，又將這大而堅固的愛留給他，賜給他一個兒子坐他的王位，正如今日一樣。

所羅門曰、昔爾僕我父大衛、以誠實公義中正、行於爾前、爾循是而施以鴻恩、復加厚惠、賜之一子、踐乎其位、有如今日、

所羅門曰、昔我父大闢、真實無妄、行善為義於爾前、爾施厚恩、使子繼其位、今日之事為證。

所羅門曰、主之僕我父大衛以誠實善義正心、行於主前、主向之施鴻恩、又為之存此大恩、使其子繼繼原文作坐其位、有如今日、

Solomon answered,“ You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day.

Solomon answered,“ You have been very kind to my father David, your servant. That’s because he was faithful to you. He did what was right. His heart was honest. And you have continued to be very kind to him. You have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

And Solomon said,“ You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant David my father, because he walked before you in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward you. And you have kept for him this great and steadfast love and have given him a son to sit on his throne this day.

Solomon replied,“ You showed great and faithful love to your servant my father, David, because he was honest and true and faithful to you. And you have continued to show this great and faithful love to him today by giving him a son to sit on his throne.

And Solomon replied,“ You have shown great and faithful love to your servant, my father David, because he walked before you in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

Then Solomon said,“ You have shown great faithfulness to Your servant David my father, according as he walked before You in truth, righteousness, and uprightness of heart toward You; and You have reserved for him this great faithfulness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon said:“ You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon said, Thou hast showed unto thy servant David my father great lovingkindness, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great lovingkindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And Solomon replied,“ You have shown great and faithful love to Your servant, my father David, because he walked before You in faithfulness, righteousness, and integrity. You have continued this great and faithful love for him by giving him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as[ it is] this day.

Solomon replied,“ You demonstrated great loyalty to your servant, my father David, as he served you faithfully, properly, and sincerely. You have maintained this great loyalty to this day by allowing his son to sit on his throne.

Solomon said,“ You have shown to your servant David my father great loving kindness, because he walked before you in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you. You have kept for him this great loving kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is today.

王又這樣說：‘耶和華以色列的神是應當稱頌的，因為他今天賜了一人坐在我的王位上，也使我親眼看見這事。’”

至於你，如果你像你父親大衛那樣，存誠實和正直的心在我面前行事為人，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例和典章，

這樣，耶和華必堅立他所說有關我的話，說：‘如果你的子孫謹慎自己所行的，一心一意、誠誠實實行在我面前，就不斷有人坐以色列的王位了。’

就是行為完全，作事公義，心裡說誠實話的人。

現在你要對我的僕人大衛這樣說：‘萬軍之耶和華這樣說：我把你從牧場中、從照顧羊群的工作中揀選出來，使你作我子民以色列的領袖，你無論到哪裡去，我都與你同在；我必在你面前剪除你所有的仇敵。我要使你得享大名，像世上那些偉人的名一樣。我要為我的子民以色列選定一個地方，栽培他們，使他們住自己的地方，不再受騷擾；惡人也不能再像以前那樣苦待他們，像我立了士師治理我的子民以色列的那天以來那樣。我要使你安享太平，不受你所有的仇敵侵擾。耶和華向你宣告，耶和華要親自為你建立一個朝代。到了你的壽數滿足，你與你的列祖一起長眠的時候，我必興起你親生的後裔接替你，並且我要堅固他的國。

耶和華是永活的，我的磐石是應當稱頌的；拯救我的神，我的磐石，是應當被尊為至高的。他是那位為我伸冤的神，他使萬民服在我的腳下，他救我脫離我的仇敵。你還把我高舉起來，高過那些起來攻擊我的人，又救我脫離了強暴的人。因此，耶和華啊，我要在列國中稱讚你，歌頌你的名。耶和華賜極大的救恩給他所立的王，又向他的受膏者施慈愛，就是向大衛和他的後裔施慈愛，直到永遠。”

耶和華按著我的公義報答我，照著我手中的清潔回報我。因為我謹守了耶和華的道，未曾作惡離開我的神。因為他的一切典章常擺在我面前，他的律例，我未曾丟棄。我在他面前作完全的人，我也謹慎自己，脫離我的罪孽。所以耶和華按著我的公義，照著我在他眼前手中的清潔回報我。

富足和尊榮都從你而來，你也統治萬有。在你的手裡有力量和權能；人的尊大、強盛都是出於你的手。我們的神啊，現在我們要稱頌你，讚美你榮耀的名。我算甚麼？我的人民又算甚麼？竟有力量這樣樂意奉獻？因為萬物都是從你而來，我們只是把從你手裡得來的，奉獻給你。

拿單對大衛說：“你就是那人！耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘我膏立了你作以色列的王，把你從掃羅的手裡救了出來，把你主人的家賜給你，把你主人的妻妾交在你懷裡，又把以色列和猶大家賜給你。如果太少了，我還可以多多加給你。

因此，我認為必須勸那幾位弟兄先到你們那裡去，使你們事先籌足從前所答應的捐款。那麼，你們這樣的準備，就是出於樂意的，不是勉強的。

我的心哪！你要回復安寧，因為耶和華用厚恩待你。

可是，對我的僕人摩西卻不是這樣，他是在我全家忠心的。

“唉，耶和華啊！求你記念我曾怎樣以真誠和完全的心在你面前行事為人，我所行的都是你看為善的事。”希西家就痛哭起來。

求你恩待你的僕人，使我可以活著，也可以謹守你的話。

“你去對我的僕人大衛說：耶和華這樣說：‘你要建造一座殿宇給我居住嗎？

你們既然凡事富裕，就可以慷慨地捐輸，使眾人藉著我們，對神生出感謝的心。

我要歌頌耶和華，因他以厚恩待我。（本章第5~6節在《馬索拉文本》為13:6）

他揀選了自己的僕人大衛，把他從羊圈中召出來；他領他出來，使他不再跟著那些母羊，卻要牧養他的子民雅各，和他的產業以色列。於是大衛以正直的心牧養他們，靈巧地引導他們。

因為除了赫人烏利亞那事以外，大衛都行耶和華看為正的事，一生之中從來沒有偏離耶和華所吩咐他的一切。
